Surplan is a cloud based construction measurement and takeoff software that enables quantity surveying directly on digital plans. The application operates entirely within a web browser and eliminates reliance on physical measuring tools. It supports PDF, DWG, JPG and PNG formats and establishes measurement accuracy by calibrating two points of known distance. The calibration process completes rapidly and sets a foundation for all subsequent measurements.

Surface measurement functionality allows users to trace perimeters of rooms and exclude non applicable zones such as fixtures or utilities with a single click. Measurements are organized into separate layers for each work category and non applicable areas are recognized automatically. The system calculates both surface areas and linear distances and enables multiple work lots to be managed within a single plan.

Element counting features include automatic numbering of items such as electrical outlets, light fixtures and plumbing terminals. Users can annotate each count marker with custom notes for references, dimensions or observations. Multiple counting categories can be differentiated visually through customizable color coding to clarify project documentation.

Project organization is facilitated through cloud based grouping of plans by construction site with customizable color coded labels. All data is synchronized across desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices without requiring software installation.
