Tap.Giving overview

What is Tap.Giving?

Tap.Giving manufactures custom-branded, passive NFC plates designed for churches and nonprofits seeking contactless, in-service giving without replacing their existing payment processor or giving platform. Each 4-inch rigid PVC plate is printed with the organization's logo and colors, encodes a URL of the organization's choice, and includes a QR code backup. When a supporter taps a compatible smartphone, the encoded giving page opens directly in the phone's browser in approximately 8 seconds. No app download is required, and Tap.Giving does not process payments or handle donations at any point.

Plates mount on pew backs or chair backs via included 3M adhesive, pre-drilled screw holes, or elastic band, and require no batteries or maintenance, as they are passive devices powered by the smartphone's NFC field. Compatible with iPhone 7 (2016) and newer and Android phones from 2015 or later. NFC chips ship locked by default to prevent destination overwrites; unlocked configuration is available on request. Anti-metal shielding is available as a $1-per-plate add-on. Multiple plates within a single order can each encode a different URL, supporting use cases beyond giving, including connect cards, prayer requests, event RSVPs, kids check-in, and volunteer signups. An optional cloud-based Smart Redirect Dashboard allows organizations to re-point all plates to a new URL without reprinting hardware; it is free for the first year on any order, free permanently on orders of 400 or more plates, and $50 per year otherwise.

Tap.Giving serves Baptist, Methodist, Episcopal, Catholic, and non-denominational congregations, as well as nonprofits, across the United States and Canada. Minimum order is 100 plates, making the product accessible to small congregations and large ones alike. Per-plate pricing is published publicly: $5.00 per plate for 100-199, $4.00 for 200-399, and $3.50 for 400 or more. Every order includes a free custom-branded design proof built from the organization's logo and colors, reviewed before manufacturing begins. Turnaround is 2-3 weeks from artwork approval, with rush service available. All orders ship free, and a 30-day money-back guarantee applies.
