Terminz overview
What is Terminz?
Terminz is a cloud booking and point-of-sale platform for appointment-based service businesses in the German-speaking market.
Booking and calendar
A public booking page per location, configurable without code, with service categories, durations, buffer times, staff assignment and a waiting list. Availability is computed from staff rotas, service duration and resource capacity, so impossible or double-booked slots are never offered. The internal calendar runs day, week, month and agenda views with drag-and-drop rescheduling, range selection and block overlays. Customers can manage their own appointment through a tokenised link.
Point of sale and fiscal compliance
The till signs every transaction through a certified cloud TSE as required by the German Kassensicherungsverordnung. It produces GoBD-compliant receipts with the signature printed, an end-of-day close, refunds, vouchers and tips. Data exports in DSFinV-K format for a tax audit and via DATEV export for the accountant. The TSE is part of the point-of-sale plan, with no separate contract with the TSE provider.
Team and operations
Rotas, absence and holiday approval, time tracking with approvals, per-employee commission reports, roles and granular per-location permissions.
Customers and marketing
Customer records with appointment history, notes, visit count and spend, held per location. Automated review requests, email campaigns and newsletters with documented consent under German competition law.
Integrations and platform
Stripe and Stripe Terminal for online and in-person card payments. Google Business Profile booking. A GraphQL API and a multi-location tenant dashboard on the top plan. Data import auto-detects the export formats of Shore, Treatwell, Fresha, Timify and SimplyBook, with duplicate detection and rollback.
Security and data protection
Hosted in Germany. GDPR data processing agreement under Art. 28. Role-based access control, audit logging, encrypted storage of sensitive fields, and a free full data export at any time.
