Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Uselink overview
What is Uselink?
uselink turns any HTML or Markdown into a clean, shareable link that people can read and comment on without creating an account.
Paste a doc, drop a file, or push a .zip, and you get a permanent URL under your handle in under a minute. There is no build step, no framework config, and no deploy. CSS, fonts, and images carry through, and interactive HTML actually runs, so an AI-generated dashboard, spec, or prototype renders exactly the way it was produced.
Every link comes with access controls. Set it to public, unlisted, or invite-only, and add an optional password, expiry date, or view limit. You can pull or change access at any time without rotating the URL.
Readers open the link and reply in threaded comments pinned directly to the rendered page. They never sign up. Comment threads attach to the element they sit on, not a line number in the source, so feedback lands exactly where it belongs. Owners can moderate comments, disable them per document, and rely on per-IP rate limiting to keep spam out.
When the doc changes, you edit the source and every reader is on the latest version right away. Past versions stay diffable and restorable, and you can roll back to any point without changing the link. A visual editor lets you fix a typo on a published page live in the browser, with no re-export and no re-upload.
For automated workflows, the uselink CLI and the @uselink/mcp server publish pages straight from Claude, Cursor, or n8n, and every change fires a webhook. The whole flow is scriptable end to end, with no dashboard required.
Common uses: an RFC or design doc you want commented on without dragging people into a repo, a postmortem the team annotates in threads, a generated report that has to actually render, a client proposal behind a password on your own handle, or an interactive tool from one AI session, live at a link.
Security is built in. HTML is sanitized server-side before public render, with scripts, iframes, event handlers, and unsafe URLs stripped. Document bodies, published versions, history, and uploaded files are encrypted at the application layer with AWS KMS. SOC 2 is in progress.
