Google Analytics 360

Mixpanel

Amplitude

Enterprise-level analytics platform for marketers, BI staff, and online businesses to gain insights into customer website interactions.

Mixpanel helps companies build better products through data. With our powerful, self-serve product analytics solution, teams can easily analyze how and why people engage, convert, and retain to improve their user experience.

Amplitude is a mobile analytics platform focused on providing access to the behavioral layer of user data

This greatly limited how we could use Pendo and it required a lot of custom work from our Dev Team. When reaching out to support for help we would wait weeks to get an answer.

Project Manager

The ability to gather feedback directly within the app has streamlined our decision-making process and improved customer satisfaction.

Head of product

I have the impression that pricing mainly depends on what the customer is willing to pay.

Identify invisible friction, accelerate adoption, and improve software experiences with analytics. Start collecting app and user data immediately with little to no engineering effort.

Principal User Interface Engineer

The segmentation options are strong, so we can target messages by account tier, behavior, or region instead of blasting everyone. And the last one THE DARK THEMING, allowing teams to support any theme personalization without needing of code change.

Some of the more advanced dashboards and exports feel a little rigid, and customizing reports beyond the built-in templates can be tedious.

VP Product

The only draw back is that feature and page tagging can be tedious and take awhile. But I do like that I control what is tagged or not tagged and tracked.

Most things do not require any code updates on my end, but some do which can be annoying for my specific industry who upgrade slowly.

I absolutely love that it enables not just the product team but the whole business to truly understand usage of our product at a detailed level.

there are a lot of options, and it takes time to understand which reports and filters to use for different questions.

The path, funnel, and cohort reports make it easy to answer questions that used to require custom analytics work.

Product Owner

It consistently helps our team better understand user behavior and improve the product experience, and support has been strong whenever we’ve needed it.

Product Analyst

I like that I can launch tooltips, walkthroughs, and surveys right inside the product without bugging engineers.

Senior Software Developer

Also, the widgets appear over top buttons and other elements on page.

VP, Workplace Strategy

This is probably the one major thing. And this is a filler sentence to meet Capterra's 100 character limit for this question.

Product Manager

Additionally, the pricing can be a barrier, especially for smaller teams or organizations looking to scale.

Director of Education

The ability to overlay guides onto our app is outstanding!

Head of Product

Customisation of reporting columns can be restrictive

It has great web analytics to be able to see stats on visits to pages, I also really enjoy the ability to build out little informational tools like pop-ups when you enter a page for users without having to code/develop for that.

For example, form field validation is great, yet why not have it built into guides?

Sometimes it’s challenging to find exactly what I need, and the filters could be more intuitive.

The insights I’ve gained have informed product decisions and improved user experiences significantly.

Senior software engineer

Multi platform where it can be integrated to any platform with ease and easy to use the pendo application.

Principle Product Manager

CSMs often struggle to get to grips with Segments and Reports.

It just takes some work to prove it to leadership when the cost seems overwhelming.

Simple to set up guides with pre-configured templates is really helpful

The templates are great and make life a lot easier, especially for those just starting to use them.

Account Executive

From cusotmer service to functionality, could not be happier with the platform.

The analytics interface is simple and powerful.

From a developer's perspective, it is easy to integrate Pendo into our application.

New features and experiments improve the experience regularly

tech lead

I implemented the pendo sdk into an app, and left our BA to do user walkthroughs, add details to features etc.

VP Product Management

They go out of their way to be supportive, and its been a great partnership all the way through

From onboarding through daily use, the platform has been reliable, easy to work with, and impactful.

Director, Product

I'm a huge proponent of Pendo - we've had access to it for 8+ years and it keeps getting better and better.

Their platform is intuitive and is easy to naviget to find value.

Designer

With the steep learning curve, it takes some time to understand the platform

Overall my experience is good but it could be improved with clearer definitions and a more intuitive user experience.

It’s perfect for onboarding and learning how users feel in the moment.

Product Development

NPS overviews and item analytics on a SaaS stage make it an awfully capable stage, which can progress our client appropriation, whereas too directing item groups to superior get it and track client behavior.

Lead Program Manager

The design team gets a lot of benefit from the Funnel and Pathing features, it helps them to study user flows and make design adjustments on the fly.

Associate Payments

Pendo will provide numerous opportunities to sort results based on product type, target groups, and customer behavior, displayed on customized dashboards and easy-to-understand reports.

Our overall experience with Pendo has been phenomenal.

I have learned so much from the Pendo product and team.

System Administrator

It's relatively easy to use and easy to implement.

We use guides frequently to announce new features, market events and webinars, collect user feedback, and educate users on how to use our features.

The speed with which we can Pendo go from raw data to actionable insights is a crucial feature, and the quick search feature integrated with all platform options is excellent.

Project Engineer

I utilize Pendo to track which highlights are utilized the foremost on a page, labeling is simple in Pendo, and once it's labeled accurately it's much less demanding to explore through the information and make choices.
