After years of using third-party tools for tracking keywords and chasing Featured Snippets, I switched to just using Google Search Console because it’s the origin source for accurate (albeit incomplete) data about what’s happening with my keywords and pages. Of course Google doesn’t want SEO to be easy so they don’t give you any helpful information about what’s going on with the SERPs.
I can check results in different locations, I can see all of the SERP features and their underlying metadata on demand with no commitment required to a particular set of keywords. Also, alongside the JSON returned from the API you get a screenshot of the actual SERP, not some cobbled-together version of what was there. It’s much easier to grok.
My only complaint is that the Google Sheets plug-in doesn’t work the way I’d expect it to. I struggled with it and gave up, just relying on the web-based tool for now. Eventually I’ll integrate the data into my own SEO tools but for now the desktop website is easy to use and tells me what I need to know.

We need a very consistent API that is quick and provides flexibility. SerpApi provided us with that. They even report on their performance with all the trackable response times.
SerpApi is the fastest SER API that we have tested and we have tested many. It also provides the features we need like all the search options. Customer support is extremely quick to respond and very accommodating.

We needed to estimate the impact of a service that we offer to researchers by compiling the amount of publications that have resulted from the service. SerpApi eased most of the burden.
The search using DOI was very useful. It brought out exact matches to queries.
The query using bibliographic parameter brings out too many unnecessary matches.

Using SERPAPI to parse through Google Ads data to help focus an initiative of ours. While there are several other products in this space, we've found SERPAPI to be significantly more value compared to all others in the space.
Provides an easy to use tool for our very nich purpose. Highly impressed with response time both of the product itself, as well as the engineering & customer support teams.
No cons, however it would be cool to see them implement a list of trusted partners or developers in the future. Finding a dev to work with the API has not been easy for us, however this is something that's
