Rather than returning a single probability score, the API produces a visual overlay mapped to the original image, highlighting specific regions identified as synthetic, alongside summary statistics breaking down the percentage of AI-generated versus human-originated pixels. Results are delivered synchronously within the same API call, with throughput supporting up to 900 requests per 15 minutes per host and architecture designed for high-volume batch processing across thousands of images.
The tool supports PNG, BMP, JPG, JPEG, WEBP, HEIC, and HEIF formats with a minimum resolution of 518 pixels on the shortest side. Detection capabilities cover full AI generation as well as partial manipulation techniques such as inpainting and generative edits, including subtle alterations that persist after re-editing or disguise attempts. C2PA metadata analysis provides an additional layer of authenticity verification by reading embedded image provenance data. RLE mask output delivers machine-readable data indicating AI-detected regions with start positions and lengths, suitable for downstream processing. Source attribution identifies the originating AI service or tool when detectable. A sandbox mode with mock results supports development and integration testing without consuming production quota.

Use cases include claims fraud detection, identity document verification, proof-of-asset validation, editorial integrity checks, and brand protection against synthetic media.
