What I don't like about iLovePDF is their OCR which isn't on par with the latest OCR technologies and their advanced OCR is only available to their premium users.

Content Coordinator

As a brazilian that writes and read brazilian portuguese as main language, sometimes when converting a file that is not in english - specially when the file is not "readable" such as images - i get some wrong words. But this, really, is a minor issue when you compare price vs results.

47% of reviewers feel negative about Image Conversion. Users say that converting images to PDF or extracting text with OCR often results in reduced image quality, formatting errors, or inaccurate text recognition. Reviewers mention that scanned documents, complex layouts, or non-English text can lead to blurry results or loss of detail. They also report that advanced OCR features are limited to premium users, making it difficult to work with image-heavy or scanned files effectively.
