Challenging zoom functionality

Designer

Too many images or canvases can slow Miro down, and the zoom especially is not very user friendly

Consulting Intern

While estimating stories, it automatically zooms in to the card and it is sometime irritating to finish the estimation, zoom out and go to the next.

57% of reviewers feel negative about Miro’s zoom controls. Reviewers indicate that navigating large boards can be cumbersome due to clunky zooming and panning. They say it’s difficult to find the right zoom level, and moving around the canvas often feels unintuitive, especially during presentations or when using a mouse or touchpad. Some users report that zooming can cause disorientation, slow performance, or make it hard to focus on specific areas, impacting the overall user experience.

They mention that the mobile and desktop apps lack full functionality or are less reliable than the browser version. Some users say that slow loading times and limited offline features hinder productivity, especially for those who need to work on the go or in areas with poor internet access.

Complex navigation experience

Implementation Manager

The navigation system is screwed up and you can always see somebody move something by accident. While it's easy to roll back those changes, to those less detail-oriented it can be tricky to recall what was made on purpose and what was not.

Economist

A bad opinion about Miro is that it can be expensive for larger teams, and some users may find the interface overwhelming or confusing to navigate.

50% of reviewers feel negative about Miro’s navigation. Reviewers find the interface overwhelming, especially for new users, due to the abundance of features and icons. They mention that moving elements, switching tools, and finding functions can be confusing or unintuitive.
