Pros
It’s been a lifesaver on more than one occasion for my work. Great features, just works consistently all the time, and you can’t argue with the free price tag.
Great software for speed, it's great for taking notes. I would not recommend it for programming.
Have been using it for more than 15 years with great success. The application is well supported on all operating systems which offers portability in its use across all platforms.
Cons
It is only compatible for Windows-based computers. Personally, I have no objections, but there are those who are anxious for it to be usable on other operating systems.
It is only limited to windows and have limited features and functionality. And also have problem with opening large files.
It does not work as an IDE. It also sucks that there is no error detection.

Notepad++ is the best file editing software

Reviewed 7 months ago

It's a amazing experience working on notepad++. We can easily select one set of columns out of half a millions rows. We can easily insert some words in the start or end of each rows or to the number of rows we want.It makes my life simple. Like in notepad if you copy the data rows and column alignment was missing , but with notepad++ it great to see the output and can easily see what is in what colum...alignment is one of the best feature i love about this product

Pros

with notepad++ we can see data in rows column without actual column line and we can easily see what is in what column. We can select few column data as well and if we want to put something in front of every row or at the end, we can easily do that

Cons

It's keyboard shortcuts is something we need to learn before started working on notepad++, but once you gets comfortable with the shorucut, you will love this product. But these shoutcuts should be embedded in the software like in help menu there should be one page of shortcuts

Excellent text editor with support for multiple file extensions

Reviewed a year ago

I use this editor day after day to be able to validate the syntax of some files, as well as to organize and be able to search for errors in programming codes referring to a language, as well as in its administrator mode to be able to edit and save system files without the need for so many steps only by authenticating as an administrator I can achieve this functionality.

Pros

What I like the most about this text editor is its compatibility with multiple file extensions, which makes it essential when it comes to debugging or validating files and their syntax. I also like that it is a useful editor for web development where we can create our web applications taking into account the interpretation of the syntax of the language that we are using.

Cons

I could say that its interface could be a little more modern and friendly

Clever and Light Tool for Coding

Reviewed 9 days ago

Quick, dependable, and fitted to my toolkit, despite a few hiccups.

Pros

Notepad++ is great for changing and comparing files, simple to use, free of cost, and the perfect first step into the colorful world of coding.

Cons

It can't link with T24, only works on Windows, the layout can be tricky to read and use, and there's not much help for beginners making mistakes.

text editor that is particularly useful for developers

Reviewed 22 days ago
Pros

Notepad++ automatically highlights syntax for many programming languages, making it easier to read and write code.includes an auto-completion feature that suggests possible words or phrases based on what you've typed so far, which can help speed up coding.

Cons

While Notepad++ is a powerful text editor, it does not have the full range of features found in more robust integrated development environments (IDEs) like Visual Studio or Eclipse.

Notepad++ Review

Reviewed 4 months ago

It is being used mostly by developers for editing, debugging, compiling, completing the code.

Pros

I like Version control, Built in debugger, the compiler, more over the GUI which is very neat and simple.

Cons

I think logs can be maintained well and should have all the information
