Essential in coding C#

Reviewed 2 years ago

I use Rider daily to do my job. It supports me navigating through the code and keeping it clean.

Pros

Rider is the best IDE for .NET development for me. Especially if you are already in the JetBrains world, everything is pretty intuitive.

Cons

Some “special” features like general deployment stuff or code generation, for example for services are not mature as in Visual Studio yet.

Best IDE for Web Frontend and .NET Backend

Reviewed 2 months ago

Der Editor für sich gut an. Wer schon mal mit Resharper gearbeitet hat, wird mit JEDI-Coding im Bereich C# und Typescript/JS belohnt.

Pros

A very good IDE for the development of modern web languages in combination with .NET / C# in the backend. The tool is the right choice for precisely this use case and, in my opinion, is far superior to competing products.

Cons

Sometimes a bit slow, it does not support opening multiple solutions with sub-projects. However, this would be very useful in the environment of hexagonal architectures.
