What is Busuu?
Busuu is a learning management system (LMS) designed to help schools, universities, and corporate businesses create, launch, and manage language training programs for students and employees. It enables educators to manage multiple language courses, interact with native speakers, and track learner’s progress on a unified platform.
The language courses include vocabulary and grammar lessons, audio, translation, or multiple-choice exercises, audio recordings of each vocabulary item, and speech recognition exercises to improve pronunciation and grammar skills. Busuu allows businesses to modify the course content as per business requirements, measure return on investment (ROI), and increase employee retention by offering learning incentives. Learners can also use the conversations feature to practice real-life conversations in various languages such as English, Polish, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and more and receive feedback from native speakers in real-time.
Busuu facilitates integration with Microsoft Teams to facilitate collaborative learning for users and test the understanding of English, German, Spanish, or French. Other features include offline access, user engagement, feedback management, reporting, single sign-on (SSO), and more.
