What is Emporix?
Emporix is a headless digital commerce platform that combines key B2C commerce features with complex B2B commerce capabilities and is based on best-of-breed MACH architecture. Emporix uniquely enables business users, on top of offering the regular eCommerce features, to optimize commerce interactions on the fly, based on real-time business-wide process intelligence powered by Celonis. This can be carried out by those without extensive coding knowledge in a visual environment, where they can set up “execution scenarios” — automated workflows that implement custom business rules based on insights.
The Emporix Digital Commerce Platform was built with B2B users in mind and offers more complex and sophisticated features such as:
- Defining pricing rules based on weight, quantity, and other criteria.
- Providing monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or weekly subscriptions or custom (including split) delivery options to customers.
- VAT calculation, gross/net price splitting.
- Bulk pricing — volume discounts, tiered pricing options.
- Price lists: auto-adjusting prices for variables: region, country, currency, customer segment, etc.
- Customer-specific product catalogs and pricing.
- Invoice management.
- Quote-based pricing management.
- Identity and access management.
- Approval workflows for orders.
Emporix can be easily integrated with most CMS, CRM, ERP, and other platforms of choice. Functionalities can be easily extended by integrating other API-based microservices directly or using a visual integration-as-a-service tool like Make.
The Emporix eCommerce platform complies with GDPR and PCI DSS standards, enabling organizations to ensure secure access to data and other resources using OAuth 2.0 access tokens.
Emporix is certified by the MACH Alliance to meet their standards in being Microservices-based, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless.
Emporix’s partner network can support with migration from legacy systems and implementation of the Emporix Digital Commerce Platform.
