What users say

Lending Pad is easy to use and the pricing structure compared to other "legacy" providers is very favorable.
I honestly do not have any, I tried to get a refund but they do not stand behind their product and service.

Lending Pad LOS Review

Reviewed 16 days ago

Been great. Will continue to use it over other LOS's dues to, in my opinion, superior ease and fundtionality.

Pros

Ease of use and functionality. If I have all the documents required I can enter a loan application, run credit, run AUS and be ready to export an accurate and complete 3.4 file in 10-20 minutes.Customer Service is available right away and they have always been able to solve an issue within minutes.

Cons

There are a few quirks/work arounds that don't quite line up with other LOS's including lenders we export the 3.4 to -Example - to get AUS to read correctly for VA loans > REO > gross rents offsetting monthly payment - you have to give 100% gross rents and have it be $0.01 less than the PITI resulting in $0.01 cost per month.Example - When a borrower is on the mortgage and title for an REO as a co-borrower, but omitting a mortgage because the other party to the mortgage loan has made the payments for the last 12 months, you must make sure the mortgage is not linked to the REO for AUS to omit it.

I did not think it was possible.

Brilliant

Pros

The number one plus about LP is the cloud technology and ability to work anywhere with decent internet. I was skeptical about coming from deep-pocket lenders to choosing a solution for my own shop. I priced out Encompass the "gold standard" of LOS systems with its own set of quirks and problems. Over $100,000 for the scale needed to do the numbers that we want and that is in the first 18 months. Deployment...

Cons

There are only a couple and the team is working daily on new tech. We would like to see an app. The ability to have the client upload from a phone directly to the loan file. Additionally PRICING we need everyone to play ball and have a universal pricing formula so the guys and galls at LP don't need 6 months for each engine. As a broker I would like to have the ability to see pricing from all of our lenders in one dashboard for a specific client. These are not cons they are just wants!

My overall

Reviewed 2 years ago

The overall experience has been great. I love the software it is easy to use once you get used to finding what you are looking for. There is room for improvements as with any other software.

Pros

I like that the software is web-based, this has our company security a little easier to handle.

Cons

There is no way to fully customize or add any features to the system. Adding in contacts for lenders has to be done by the software company versus doing it yourself. The customer chat box is great BUT it should be moveable to where you can access it as you try to follow the tech support instructions. There are add-ons with outside software vs LendingPad upgrades (CRM, Pricing, etc) It is sometimes a little longer to get support when you need a quick answer and there is no support phone number. Printing forms should be easier and accessible to all users. The customer link needs improvement and allows them to upload documents.

Good company

Reviewed 11 days ago

Overall a good experience.

Pros

Like the support when in a loan the most, usually a quick response in the chat box. Visually a much easier look then the old system.

Cons

Not being able to have a directory to call when help is needed for our Admin - have to go thru same support email that the LO's do - wish there was a "bat phone" just for management. Also, originally was sold on the 3rd party company that would copy pipelines from old system to Lending Pad - that did NOT go well, company went dark with us then tripled pricing.

Vendor response

We appreciate you for taking the time to share your experience with LendingPad. Our company places great importance on our clients' feedback to continually enhance our services. Although we don't have a direct line for admin questions, we do provide admins the opportunity to schedule an admin support call in the support tab under the screen share button. Thank you for choosing LendingPad, and we are eager to continue serving you.

LOS for brokers

Reviewed 7 days ago

Easy to implement. Service has been responsive and knowledgeable about the product.

Pros

Reasonable price, flexible pricing per seat, no long term commitments, no set-up fee, plug-n-play, web-based, easy to onboard new hires. Document management.

Cons

No mobile capabilities, mobile app is useless, no functionality. POS needs a lot of improvement.

Vendor response

We appreciate your time in sharing your feedback on your LendingPad experience. Our company values your input as it helps us improve and develop better services. We have taken note of your comment about the limited Point of Sale (POS) system and would like to inform you that we are currently implementing several updates to the POS in 2023. We are hosting a webinar on Friday, 3/24/2023, to showcase...

Omega Mortgage

Reviewed 4 years ago

Now that I'm more familiar with how it works it's getting easier. Still learning all aspects though.

Pros

Price and easy access for a small company

Cons

A lot of things don't auto populate from one section to another. It took a while to learn the system. Could use more tools to walk through the step by step process in writing. The tutorials by the rep are better than the other one which is hard to understand.
