Planwhiz saves me time and money!

Reviewed 2 years ago

Planwhiz replaced that giant spreadsheet and saved me at least 15 hours every month. This is huge for us to follow the ASC 606 rule. Planwhiz automatically generates revenue and cash forecast for every sales order based on the product. No more complicated waterfall formulas. It also generates SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR, new bookings etc.) automatically based on each sales order. What makes it ever better is it also provides me drill down capability to each customer, product, sales rep, and sales regions!

Pros

Super intuitive to learn and fast to implement. Price is very reasonable Product is tailored to corporate finance professionals

Cons

Not much to dislike about the software and team. Planwhiz team responded to my feature requests quickly so all the cons are fixed.

Their Solution Gives You More Than You Would Expect

Reviewed a year ago

The team has been a pleasure to work with. They are an early stage company, so it is great that they listen to our input on how to improve their product, which is a win-win for us.

Pros

NetSuite Integration, the tool is tailored for SaaS businesses, exceptional customer service, intuitive platform even for non financial analysts.

Cons

One thing I would like to see is better reporting functionality where users can customize their own reporting.

Easy to use

Reviewed a year ago
Pros

Planwhiz is really easy to use and fast to implement. All our Finance team use less than one more to get familiar with this software and utilize it in our forecast process every month. In addition, the customer service team from Planwhiz is efficient to help.

Cons

Since Planwhiz is still a new software, there are some functions are not prefect. But their R&D team improve performance of software a lot as long as they hear any feedback

Perfect for when you outgrow excel spreadsheets!

Reviewed a year ago

Great product, great customer service!

Pros

I love how clean-cut it is, all the inputs are very intuitive and efficient. Because it's built by people with a finance background, the data flow makes sense and is not too cumbersome. The development team is also very responsive. They listen to your inputs and incorporate updates very quickly. This speaks volume to how much they value their customers.

Cons

Right now there's not too much flexibility on pay structure. I'm sure in the future there will be options (annual plan, monthly plan, etc) :)
