Rapid Inventory overview

What is Rapid Inventory?

Rapid Inventory is an inventory management solution designed to integrate with QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, and Enterprise editions. It addresses inventory management needs of small to medium sized businesses by streamlining warehouse operations and eliminating manual data entry. The web-based platform synchronizes with the accounting system to maintain accurate inventory records.

Central to its functionality is automatic two way synchronization with QuickBooks Desktop. Items, orders, and inventory actions are updated across both systems. Multi location and multi warehouse tracking allows monitoring stock levels across multiple physical sites. The system implements first in first out and first expiration first out inventory methodologies along with lot number tracking, batch number tracking, and serial number tracking. Mobile barcode scanning functionality verifies locations, items, quantities, and shipments during receiving, picking, counting, moving, and transferring operations. Pick lists determine the most efficient routes for picking. Additional workflows include inventory assemblies, cycle counting, backorder tracking, partial shipping and receiving, label printing, and real time inventory reporting covering on hand inventory, quantities on purchase orders and sales orders, order status, inventory value, and reorder points.

Rapid Inventory can be integrated exclusively with QuickBooks Desktop editions. The software is compatible with hosted QuickBooks solutions such as Swizznet, Visory, and Rightworks. The web-based architecture provides access from iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and tablets. Mobile scanning devices from manufacturers including Motorola, Zebra, Honeywell, and Datalogic can be used in wired or wireless configurations. A web connector maintains the integration to allow ongoing data flow without manual intervention.

Deployment processes include discovery, planning, configuration, data migration, and user training. Technical support and onboarding services accompany deployment. The solution enforces consistent procedures to support inventory control and minimize errors.

QuickBooks has a much better accounting package that Service Fusion does not come close to. Stick with what you are good at and don't try to be everything. If you do, you will continue to dilute your efforts at providing a good product.
