What is ScrapRight?
ScrapRight is a scrap and recycling software solution built for deployment by recycling centers and scrap yards of varying scale, and available as a cloud-based SaaS or locally installed. Designed to meet compliance requirements, guaranteed at state, federal, county and local levels, ScrapRight promises to facilitate the creation of sales contracts, control inventories and also perform shipments. Admin tools include extensive built-in reporting capabilities, price list generation, plus workstation and permission-based user controls for restricting access. Inventory management encompasses WIP / FIFO, regrading, PO creation, cost analysis, barcode scanning support and more. Shipping and contracts features span sales orders, packing lists, BOLs and invoicing, while a Dedicated Container dispatch system tracks containers and other assets to Google Maps and is synced with the built-in calendar. More specific to automobile scrap yards, ScrapRight offers assistance for the buying and selling of catalytic converters, plus scrap vehicle buying tools such as NMVTIS reporting and VIN scanning etc. Accounting integration then goes on to include accounts payable features, along with connectivity for leading third-party packages such as QuickBooks, SAP and Sage / Peachtree. ?
Aside from kiosk-based support, the iScrapRight App is a companion iOS recycling app that allows iPad devices to be used as scrap compliance and ticketing workstations – enabling yard staff to perform transactions remotely. Materials can be added, weights entered and even pictures captured, while facilitating the gathering of the customer and vehicle information required for meeting compliance. Newest features include material search functionality on swipe, additional hotkeys for use with iScrapRight, OEM and autoparts search, timestamp on material and seller image and more. In addition, the app can be paired with a battery powered Bluetooth printer for the printing of receipts and tickets etc.
