customer support is bad - you can only chat with someone - and most things are escalated to the next level of support but it can take several days days/weeks to get things resoved.

I was attracted to Taxdome's features like anyone else would be when looking at it from almost two years ago. Limited and rigid payment options

Neither Stripe nor CPA Charge is a good payment processor solution, there's pros to each and I can't mix/match between them for credit/bank transactions as I'd want to use one for each.

The are a few options that can get confusing, and there's only the option to use stripe, but I use QB payments and can't integrate it with the software.

It took me and the boss a couple weeks to get everything initially set up -  all the client accounts & corresponding contacts, personalize the engagement letters, emails, chats, automations, statuses, etc all the things specific to our firm, but once that's all done, it's done, and you're off to the races, only having to tweak minor things from there.

My firm used to use Sharefile to transmit documents securely to and from clients, and now TaxDome has pretty much replaced Sharefile for us, however, I wish it had the ability to work in a similar way to Sharefile for non-clients because currently we are still haven't to keep Sharefile for people like financial advisors and others who aren't clients so therefore they don't have a good way to securely send us documents through TaxDome.

Additionally there is a current issue with editing documents, when saving your changes and moving on, come back to find the document was not in fact saved at all requiring you to edit the document all over again taking more time.

Being able to see what my colleagues are working on and respond to client emails from my colleagues email in case they are out of the office helps keep the work flow efficient.

My last example is that when I am uploading a POA, I have to upload it to the "Tax Return" Documents folder, to allow them the opportunity to sign it, which is strange because many people would consider that to have been mis-filed.

Adding Sub-folders in Docs section, I don't think there was an option that you can directly add a sub-folder.

It has documents storage, client can have their own access and be able to view the status of their tax return or bookkeeping without emailing us just to follow up and ask for the status.

The left-hand side bar navigation doesn't feel very organized to me, the TaxDome drive doesn't integrate with Mac, there is no way to make a folder private from all other users in the firm, it only integrates with 2 credit card processors, so I had to switch away from the processor I really like.
