eMedicalPractice is an integrated, cloud-based EHR, practice management and billing software with MIPS registry and merchant services for medical practices of all types and sizes. The solution helps users to schedule appointments, chart patient visits, send referral letters and claims insurances, e-prescribe/fax medications, as well as connect with labs and share information with patients in real time. Other key features include initial patient online self-registration, reporting and analytics, automated appointment reminders, and more.

The registration kiosk within eMedicalPractice enables patients to enter their information such as demographics and insurance information, as well as review the HIPAA privacy form, financial responsibility form, and any other forms the practice requires, and sign them electronically. Automated appointment reminders are sent via phone call, voice mail, text or email to remind patients of their upcoming appointment, and the calendar is updated in real time based on visit confirmations. Additional automated patient communication can include payment reminders, missed follow-up appointments, normal lab results, health maintenance reminders, birthday wishes, and follow-ups.

eMedicalPractice can quickly verify insurance in real time for over a thousand payers including Medicare and Medicaid, and includes an integrated merchant account for taking patient’s credit card payments. Practices can collect co-pay and deductibles in the office, while outstanding balances can be paid via the online patient portal. The doctors dashboard within eMedicalPractice displays information on lab results, bills and assigned tasks, to be reviewed documents, unsigned encounters, as well as prescription refills and change requests from pharmacies. Physicians can e-prescribe medications directly from patient charts, and requests for refills can be made via the patient portal.

eMedicalPractice other key platform features include electronic health information exchange, secure email and messaging, revenue cycle management, electronic and manual claims, EOBs/ERAs, reports, custom templates, and telimedicine support which allows patient encounters via any iPhone, Android, iPads or PC device.
