The Instaffo matching engine

Instaffo stores every job as structured data: job role from the Instaffo taxonomy of verticals, categories and roles, seniority level, must-have and nice-to-have skills, salary range, location, work model and relocation requirements. Talent profiles carry the same structure, so Instaffo matches attribute by attribute instead of running a keyword search. Each Talent gets a matching score with the criteria that are met listed next to it, so you can see how the score came about. Edit a job and Instaffo re-runs the matching in real time. Before you publish, Instaffo previews the size of the matching Talent pool and shows salary benchmarks from comparable roles. Matching quality keeps improving from the outcomes of the application processes that run on the platform.

The Instaffo Talent Feed

The Talent Feed opens the pool up for you to search yourself. Filters cover job role, years of experience, salary expectation fit, location fit, must-have skills, recent activity and new profiles. Profiles show dated work history, skills, salary expectation, work location and model, plus when someone was last active. One click suggests your job to a Talent, and unlike a cold list, everyone in the Instaffo pool is pre-filtered and open to a move.

Workflows and collaboration

In Instaffo you chat with Talent, add notes to a profile, request structured feedback from hiring managers, department heads or other recruiters, and schedule interviews without leaving the profile view. Application status is visible per role, which keeps screening, feedback and scheduling out of separate inboxes.

Integrations

Instaffo integrates with 40+ applicant tracking systems. Jobs are linked between the systems and applications sync automatically in both directions, so no one copies data by hand and your ATS can stay the system of record.

Distribution

A published role enters the Instaffo pool immediately and also goes out across established platforms and relevant niche channels, selected per role. Instaffo handles that distribution, so there is no separate media buy on your side.

Security and data protection

Instaffo is a German company and processes data under GDPR and the applicable statutory data protection requirements. Talent controls which information is publicly visible on an Instaffo profile, and Instaffo checks profiles for authenticity before employers see them.

Commercial model

Instaffo charges 15% of the gross annual salary on a successful hire and nothing per posting.
