WATS overview

What is WATS?

WATS is a Test Data Management solution that helps electronics companies of any size in industries such as aerospace and defence, industrial and consumer electronics, automotive and healthcare. It gives transparent, multi-context insight into yield metrics, frequent test and repair failures, or statistical parameters via actionable analytics and dashboards. So that you can focus your efforts on the production inefficiencies that are hurting you the most. In addition, WATS helps you streamline error-prone processes such as global software and firmware distribution, serial number and MAC address allocation, and maintenance management of your test assets.

Operating on Microsoft Azure cloud servers, the application automatically collects and converts any type of test and repair data to generate performance reports. And features native and API connectivity to applications such as Power BI for integration to Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence architectures.

With the WATS mobile application, enterprises can view unit under test (UUT) reports and quickly access the full test history of products from multiple manufacturing sites. It comes with an administrative dashboard, which lets users analyze various test stations, rolled throughputs, revisions, or products to determine key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor them using reports. Moreover, operators can utilize repair reports, which include image attachments, relevant comments, and failure statistics, to assess parameters such as part numbers, component references, and more.

Organizations can use the WATS workflow module to specify conditional logic for determining valid manufacturing stages for products. It enables professionals to store asset details in a centralized database, receive automated notifications for predefined scenarios, and conduct manual inspections through a graphically designed test flow.
