Pros

GoTo meeting is very easy to use and the quality of video and audio is great. I love that I can save my recordings to the cloud.
It is a brilliant and super powerful tool that does not demand any training to use. It has a nice and high definition video quality thus making it best option for conferencing and screen sharing.
It is a good software for teaching purposes, very fast the installation and it is not too expensive. If you have a few students is the best solution.

Pros

Easy to Use connecting and scheduling meeting is easy integration with most of application is awesome like chrome, slack.
Extremely reliable, excellent collaboration tools and amazing optimisation. Never experienced any issues in long calls or classes.
I really recommend it and I think it is an excellent opportunity to invest, because if we continue with virtuality it will be very useful.

Cons

What i dislike is we can add only maximum 100 participants and after completing trial version pricing are very high. It lags while video conferencing and audio syncing problem is also there sometime.
They refused to investigate, even though PayPal reps had thoroughly investigated and had some suggestions. They simply refused to consider the possibility of a problem on their end.
One issue is that any minor interruption in internet connectivity can cause disruption in the call and getting back to the call is a bit of pain.

Cons

The customer service is undoubtedly appalling. For months and months we’ve been trying to fix the same problems - which are many - and keep coming up frustrated.
So people have to leave your landing page to register to your webinar and this is a real problem. We've lost like... 20% of people on the really ugly zoom registration page.
Constant connection issues with no specificity on who or what is having the problem. Lag issues when some members of meeting are on computer and others are using mobile app.

Online meetings and webinars, it may be great more than zoom but some confusing stuff to join a meeting or webinars

Pros

Quality of the product is great, Video and Audio is awesome, product may be confusing for the first time use, integration was not easy, a bit confused but once you get a hold of it, its easy to use.

Cons

features are great, can't complain. joining a webinar for the first time was confusing, a little challenge when integrating with current business.

Ease to use - sometimes hard

Very good tool for webinars. It is dedicated and outside of bubble of Zoom / Teams

Pros

Many companies use it as tool for webinars and meetings. The presentation features are amazing. Presenter has the control

Cons

Sometimes it is hard as a presenter to be included and to share screen. Sometimes when you are the presenter in a webinar, it does not let you in as presenter but as part of the participants

GoTo Meeting

Cheaper than Zoom

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

GoToMeeting is a much less expensive version of Zoom. Their lowest tier pricing will provide you with everything you need for a new small business.

Cons

It lacks a lot of the functionality you will find with Zoom as well. For small business owners that just need a platform to host webinars and meetings, this is perfect. If you're a large organization or plan on using this platform for paid webinars, you might as well pay the extra to use Zoom.

It Works

Reviewed 4 years ago

GoToMeeting has gotten me many virtual meetings and webinars. It just falls a bit flat when compared to Zoom.

Pros

Go to Meeting is a solid video conferencing tool. It boots up quickly and has a lot of the key features onr might expect like chat and recording.

Cons

I'm not a fan of having to download the software for meetings. This might change with paid subscriptions, but it feels like it doesn't have the capabilities Zoom has.

Okay platform, but not common

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall, it meets a business needs for us to host informational webinars. However, it is far less popular than Zoom and Teams, so our staff has started using Zoom a lot more frequently.

Pros

This platform was one of the first that we used, well before the pandemic, to host informational webinars. It was pretty easy and intuitive to use.

Cons

Not many people are familiar with how to use it. It went out of style, so we had to adapt. The video quality is better than Microsoft Teams, but worse than Zoom.

Does the Job- but so do a lot of virtual meeting tools

Reviewed 3 years ago

It has been useful so far but there have been some issues as they go through different technical updates where the product has not fully worked

Pros

GoTo Meeting is used across our company and is easy to implement for multiple users and it allows us to offer virtual tours and webinars which has been very useful in today's time.

Cons

For a basic virtual meeting, something like Zoom is simpler than GoTo Meeting but GoTo Meeting has been very useful for scheduled Webinars.

We host webinars and other online events and this is a classic, standard way to do it. It works well and reports well and integrates.

Pros

Surveys and attendee reports and engagement are easy to manage and track. Reports can be imported easily (Salesforce in our case)

Cons

Occasionally has glitches. Sometimes has a bit of latency/lag but that is often on the end of the user, not the software.

Our "GoTo" for webinar excellence!

This is an excellent tool for hosting online events and quality webinars. We will continue to use GoTo Meeting because of the features and its reliability.

Pros

GoTo Meeting makes hosting effective webinars simple and is a reliable product. The features, such as polls and analytics/reporting, really take the quality of the product up a notch and allow us to focus on the content and the audience... not the logistics.

Cons

Sometimes there can be an issue with attendees being able to log in, but this rarely occurs.

The way of the future

Reviewed 4 years ago

Overall GoToMeeting has gotten the job done and has been really easy to use. I see a lot of people resulting to zoom over this platform though. However, I think GoToMeeting is essential for webinars which I think definitely out ranks zoom in that regard.

Pros

Since COVID hit, like everyone else we have been turning to web platforms to host meetings and virtual events. One thing that stood out with GoToMeeting is their customer service. I would say the call quality also stands out.

Cons

The least thing we like about the platform is the mobile format as it is hard to see other attendees and hard to schedule meetings on a mobile device. I also wish the host could control all attendees audio by being able to mute everyone. I think that feature is essential.

Very Professional Webinar and Meeting Software

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall, GoToMeeting has been extremely easy to use and implement. We've had no set-up or technology issues on the many events we've run over the past few months. Our only critique is the limit of attendees (100) that you can have on event. If that limit did not exist, we wouldn't have any complaints!

Pros

GoToMeeting had a very user-friendly website. Our team was able to set-up events successfully with virtually no training. The website is super easy-to-use and intuitive. We often use the polling feature on our webinars to gain real feedback in real time (that can also be shared) by attendees. Overall, it's been a great software for us, specifically for web-based events.

Cons

It may be the tier we purchased, but there's a limit to the number of attendees you can have on webinars: 100. 100 attendees isn't a lot for the types of events we're promoting, especially if they are client facing. Our company is smaller than 100 people, so this isn't an issue for internal meetings, but has been for external webinars.

We have been using Join.Me for several years, and it has been pretty reliable for our virtual meetings and webinars. However, we are currently planning to go with Zoom for more robust features and an increase in reliability.

GoToMeeting - Great for hosting webinars!

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall it's great! I host several webinars each year, and as a team we host 20+/year, and out of all the events that we do for recruiting, setting up and running our GoToMeeting webinar is the easiest.

Pros

I think the best thing about GoToWebinar is that it is incredibly easy to use. Setting up a webinar event takes about 1 minute, it provides a shareable link to promote the event (if using for university recruiting purposes as I am), and then provides analytics after the event has passed (who attended, etc.), which is really important in the recruiting world.

Cons

There isn't much that I don't like about this software. The only thing that comes to mind is that there is no way to edit webinar recordings. This isn't major unless there is a component of the webinar recording that you want to remove - like if the record button accidentally is pressed 5 minutes too early and there is 5 minutes of dead air time in the recording. This happened to me and I had to send the raw file to a team member who happened to have some video editing skillsets and was able to do that. I do wish there was the funtionality for basic video editing of the recording.

GoToMeeting serves the bare-bones purpose of webinars that do not require advanced participants interaction like posting reactions or breaking participants into smaller groups. After using more webinar and meeting platforms, I have a strong preference for Zoom.

Pros

GoToMeeting is great for recording traditional webinars that do not require a great deal of participant interaction. Over time, GoToMeeting expanded to separate GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar to suit different use cases. Our organization had a subscription to GoToMeeting so we continued to use the platform for traditional webinars and small virtual meetings.

Cons

After using Zoom more extensively during the pandemic, I developed a greater preference for Zoom. As the host organization, we have higher technical ability. However, it was easier for participants with little experience with computers to learn and interact in Zoom. The breakout sessions and reactions also put Zoom ahead in my book.

Can be great, but you need to tick all the boxxes!

Reviewed 2 years ago

Good but you really need to be on it and remember the unique URLs and that everyone needs to pre-register even if you want them on the panel you have to promote attendees onto the panel or pay for a license if you want panelists to join as such straight away - with costs recerny icnreasing, this isn't an open for a small business on a regular basis.

Pros

Zoom is great at being a cost-effective option to GoTo Meeting and the rest

Cons

if you're looking to run a slick webinar, you need to make sure you have all the right boxes ticked and you have briefed everyone in on how things work. Don't share your own login link because the attendee will appear as you, remember to always do a practice session as there is additional functionality you need to amend in there which isn't on the set up page, such as 'mute all new panelists when joining.'

Generally Easy To Use Virtual Meeting Tool

Reviewed 5 years ago

Good. Video chat integrates seamlessly, easy to get started, and less clunky than other virtual meeting tools. Don't love that we get kicked out of meetings after a certain time frame but that is more on our team.

Pros

Easier to get in and use than a GoTo Meeting or WebEx (plug in not required, etc.). It basically just sign up and go.

Cons

We use the free version so the limit to people allowed in meetings as well as the time limit are frustrating but would easily be avoided with a paid version.

One of the Best app for Meetings

Reviewed 2 years ago

This is the best app I've come across. Better than Google Meet I would say.

Pros

Very simple to use and connect to a meeting. Giving presentations and sharing screens is as easy as just two clicks.

Cons

Scheduling meeting beforehand sometimes changes the meeting ID, making users wait in the wrong meeting at times.

Virtual Meetings

Reviewed 4 years ago

We deal with many 3rd part providers/vendors/partners. Saves alot of time having to drive to a meeting.

Pros

Very easy to use for the most part. Also like that is widely used so is usually the goto for face to face meetings without leaving the office.

Cons

A little bit of lag time, but understandable with this type of technology. No real dislikes as it does that job as required.
