What is SmartFile?

SmartFile is a cloud file management solution which manages and secures file sharing processes among employees and external users. Designed for large enterprises, SmartFile offers encrypted file storage and FTP hosting tools to help govern compliance across all IT operations. SmartFile supports integrations with PC through desktop connector, Macs and PCs through WebDav, and Microsoft Outlook. The product is available on per employee monthly subscription and extends support through online chat and phone.

Primary features of SmartFile include multi-user account access, custom roles and permissions, restricted file transfer, branding, secure virtual folder links, email alerts, file versioning and locking, granular permissions, automation and HIPAA-compliant activity logs. SmartFile also allows supports FTP access, administrator control, AD/LDAP integrations for complete management of large file structures. Moreover, SmartFile comes with developer APIs and software development kits that enable modifications as per user requirements.
