Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Applitools overview
What is Applitools?
Applitools is an AI-powered end-to-end testing platform that unifies visual, functional, API, and accessibility testing across browsers, devices, and screen sizes in a single integrated solution. Deployed as SaaS, on a dedicated private cloud (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google GCP), or on-premises behind a customer's own firewall, the platform covers the full testing lifecycle: test creation, execution, analysis, and maintenance. It serves organizations ranging from startups to global enterprises across financial services, banking, retail, e-commerce, healthcare, insurance, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, media, and B2B SaaS. Users include developers, QA engineers, test automation engineers, product owners, designers, and DevOps teams.
At the core of the platform is Visual AI, a computer vision engine trained on over 4 billion real-world application images across more than 11 years, which replicates human visual perception to detect functional and visual regressions across any UI, document, or screen. A proprietary Deterministic Language Model (DLM) pairs with Visual AI during execution to eliminate false positives, AI drift, and test hallucinations while producing reproducible, zero-variance results. Applitools Eyes automates visual and functional testing of web and mobile applications across a parallel browser and device network. The Ultrafast Grid executes a single test once and validates results across hundreds of browser and device combinations simultaneously. Applitools Autonomous extends this with autonomous test creation, AI-augmented recording, and natural language (NLP) authoring, allowing users to describe test steps in plain English. The Execution Cloud provides self-healing cloud infrastructure that repairs broken tests during execution, reducing flakiness caused by minor UI or locator changes. Additional capabilities include root cause analysis with CSS and DOM diff highlighting, auto-maintenance and auto-grouping of similar errors for bulk resolution, WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 accessibility validation, PDF document testing, a Figma plugin for design-to-code comparison, and Storybook integration for component-level testing.
The platform supports both no-code and code-based test authoring within the same environment, making it accessible to team members of all technical skill levels. A no-code test recorder enables creation of complex end-to-end tests without writing code, while code-based workflows remain fully supported. CI/CD integrations connect with GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, GitLab, and others. Bug tracking integrations file defects directly into Jira and other tools from the test dashboard. SCM integrations surface commit and branch context alongside test results. A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server integrates Visual AI directly into IDE tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor. The platform is ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified and supports SSO and SAML, providing a reproducible, auditable quality gate suited for risk, security, and compliance stakeholders.
