Q. What is Vasion Print used for?

PrinterLogic is a cloud-based print management solution designed to keep print jobs on local networks behind company firewalls, and centrally manage all printers, drivers, and settings. The software also offers advanced print, copy, and scan activity reporting, secure release printing, and more. PrinterLogic's migration tools allow users to automatically import their existing printer objects and remove the need for print servers. The self-service printer installation portal lets end users find and install printers from floor maps or lists, presented to them automatically based on their location, and enables installation with a single click. Printers, drivers, and admin-configured settings are automatically downloaded and installed. Administrators can upload custom floor plan maps, and drag-and-drop printers into their correct locations. PrinterLogic supports secure release printing, allowing end users to release their print jobs from any printer using the printer control panel, their ID badge, or the PrinterLogic print release mobile app for iOS and Android. EMR and VDI printing are supported, with printer objects and setting synchronized across EMR print servers. PrinterLogic also allows users to track all printing, scanning, and copying activity across their organization and down to the individual end user level.
