Secure Eraser is professional Windows software for permanently deleting sensitive data and protecting your privacy. Unlike standard deletion, which leaves recoverable traces behind, Secure Eraser overwrites selected data so it cannot be restored with conventional recovery tools.

The software securely erases individual files, entire folders, drives, partitions, the Recycle Bin, free disk space, and previously deleted files. It can also remove browsing traces and other data that may reveal information about previously stored content.

Secure Eraser offers five recognized deletion methods, including random-data overwriting, US DoD 5220.22-M E, US DoD 5220.22-M ECE, the German Industry Standard, and the Peter Gutmann Standard. Data erasure follows the guidelines of the NIST SP 800-88 standard. Erasure processes can be logged for documentation and auditing purposes.
