The software simplifies all tasks related to code creation. It makes the process faster with autocompletion powers. Also, it lets users debug, format, analyze, and refactor T-SQL codes.

• Beautify T-SQL code and unify code standards with a smart SQL Formatter.
• Get the essential information on DB objects while you are writing code.
• Format your SQL queries directly in SSMS or Visual Studio.
• Use rich SQL code snippet collection, manage, and modify the existing snippets or create your own templates.
• Navigate through SQL documents easily and synchronize them with the code.
• Rename tables, columns, procedures, and functions safely with automatic correction of references to the renamed objects.
• Boost your productivity significantly with convenient tabs and windows, as well as intuitive management of SQL statements.

Pros
It has been great, I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great all around SQL bolton tool.
Automatic Joins for ON clause. If you use recommended naming convention for your SQL Server tables, SQL Complete is awesome.
It has a lot of good features that helps the development.
Cons
Every damn time there's an upgrade some new problem appears,, it is a hazzle and I curse myself every time I decide to upgrade instead of ignoring the upgrade.
The auto-complete fails to trigger in a few rare instances, similar to the built-in auto-complete in SSMS. Nothing Earth-shattering.
IT gets stuck from time to time as it needs to update the tables from time to time if there are multiple administrators working on the database.

Everything you need for database administration

Reviewed 3 years ago

We use DB Forge for our daily work with SQL Server. Especially when developing database applications, DB Forge makes a great contribution.

Pros

DB Forge is an almost complete tool when it comes to SQL database administration and development. Especially the numerous functions around the editing of data or the creation of scripts is excellently solved.

Cons

It would be great if there would be automation for generating (CRUD)-code snippets for for example C#, vb.net etc. besides the classic T-SQL scripts.

Powerful Productivity Extension

Reviewed 3 months ago

A very useful tool for my activities with SQL environments.

Pros

Intelligent SQL completion and suggestion T-SQL formatting and code standardizing Code Refactoring

Cons

The only thing I miss is a feature for renaming objects (columns, tables, SPs, etc.) in bulk, as one could do with the Redgate SQL Prompt tool.

Decent software - updates often break functionality

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

I use SQL complete mostly for its tab coloring, code completion and suggestion functionality. It does a decent job.

Cons

-Updates often break existing functionality. I've had to revert to previous version a couple of times. -Support is responsive but often not helpful. Have an issue with code outlining disappearing. After constant back and forth, I finally sent videos of the issue that proves that the issue goes away when i uninstall SQLComplete. I've not heard back from support

Speed improvement

Reviewed 7 months ago
Pros

Overall usage. It provides what I needed for SQL scripts development.

Cons

Because I'm running on Windows 11 ARM (Mac VM), adding SQL Complete on top of SSMS slows it down dramatically. If there is Studio for SQL Server in ARM version, then I would consider to upgrade to that.

Best Budget SQL Tool

Reviewed a year ago

It has been great, I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great all around SQL bolton tool

Pros

Code completion, tight integration SQL Management Studio, document outline for complex lengthy scripts

Cons

I haven't really found any features I don't really love or find useful, but the SQL formatter function can cause some weird-looking code. It would be nice is documenter and data pump were part of this product.
