The platform does not do a good job notifying you if your emails are failing or if data is failing to be collected from orders or customers. Can go months without knowing if something is not working.

Cons

There's very little I dislike about this software. My only complaint is small - when creating a new sequence, you can't change the "trigger" that initiates the flow.

This is just a really disingenuous way to price as you get charged for that user every month even if you dont email a list member.

Careful of the rolling 2yr contract

Not good. Found the software clunky and hard to use. GUI not the best.

Pros

Integration for Magento 2 took nearly 2 weeks to do. Something i did myself in 15 minutes with Klaviyo.

Cons

The fact you are put into a 2yr rolling contract (this was never mentioned during the sale) If your software is good, then why do you feel that you have to tie people into it?

Great ESP for Mid-Market eCommerce

It is a great platform for mid-market eCommerce companies, or even non-eCommerce companies that are looking for a more advanced feature set, such as automation, integration with platforms like Magento, Shopify, and BigCommerce. It is comparable to a Klaviyo platform.

Pros

- Robust feature set compared to SMB platforms like MailChimp or Campaign Monitor - Easy(ish) to use email template builder - Good support

Cons

- Have had more issues with deliverability than some other platforms, nothing too major though - With a more complex platform it is naturally harder to use, however that is unavoidable - There are some limitations with respect to user behaviour data storage limits

Pros: Great way to see how active & engaged email leads are with its individual profile view Super integration with Shopify which allows setting up customized abandoned cart automated email flows

Cons

Reporting on campaigns & email list performance isn't as good as it could be. It's difficult to easily access performance data on list engagement

Reliable, user-friendly, effective email marketing platform

Overall, I'm very pleased with the platform. It's definitely a tool that has helped our brand grow and has helped us to improved our database engagement.

Pros

Klaviyo offers different features that really helps you to implement all the tactics necessary in your email strategy. From segment creation, database management, promotions, email campaigns, product cross-selling and up-selling, and automated flows emails that respond to your subscribers browsing/shopping behavior.

Cons

There's is one detail and we found about this when we were creating our B2B loyalty flow, is that Klaviyo and Shopify doesn't seem to be fully 100% integrated, so when it comes discount codes that have been already used or are expired, Shoppify doesn't communicates that to Klaviyo, and you may encounter some customer services issues because codes not working the way it should.

Fantastic Email Marketing Platform

Overall, I highly recommend Klaviyo as an email marketing and automation platform. The software's dashboard and tracking methods are very straightforward, and helped us to easily monitor growth in email engagement / sales month-over-month.

Pros

Klaviyo was the first major email marketing platform that I used in my career, and it was an excellent starting point due to it's user-friendly interface and simple-to-navigate features. I was able to quickly learn how to design and deploy emails, setup automations and workflows, and create audience segmentations based on a wide variety of filters.

Cons

Klaviyo's actual email builder was a bit limited in its design options. Because of this, most of our emails looked standardized without much variation between designs. Oftentimes, emails would look different than seen in the design preview, making it essential to send internal test emails prior to deployment.

Before Klaviyo: The newsletters got written eventually but clumsily, and not as often as I'd like. Follow-ups, re-engagement campaigns, customer win backs, cart and browse abandonment were either 1) not a thing or 2) a dry affair automated without the addition of rules to secure the right audience. Klaviyo changed everything, we are now rocking and rolling on a new level. We have been able to attribute...

Pros

I'd say so far I like the rules setup the best, segmenting my flows and campaigns to make sure I'm only hitting up people who 1) are interested in what I have to say right now, 2) Are the right audience for my current message/in-store sale announcement, etc and/or 3) Have not heard a similar message anytime recently. My other favorite is the easy integrations with other apps I'm using to manage my eCommerce and Digital marketing systems.

Cons

No overall CTR metric available (only per-campaign), nor a metric for open-rate stats across all campaigns/flows. Needing more training to intuit the analytics panel and some features but they do not have phone training available, I've been using it for about two months now, and I have a few blind spots that I cannot intuit from the interface, which is now a problem for me. They answered what they could via email.
