Pros

I like that you can create super professional emails. I liked the templates one could choose from and ability to use links.
Their customer service is over the top great, and the service they offer to build templates for you is well worth the small investment.
I love how streamlined and easy to use this software was. Much different than any other email marketing tool, but I loved the clean and easy-to-use templates.

Pros

The analytics are great, too. I also love that they automatically place subscribers in sub categories like potential sales or engaged subscribers.
We felt confident in their ability to successfully transition ESP platforms. The product itself is quite good and does everything you would expect it to.
Klaviyo makes it super easy to segment customers based on any number of attributes. This has been such a great feature that I can really get granular about my audience.

Cons

Not only was it much more expensive to move from Constant Contact, there are a number of missing functionalities.
There were two areas that were considerably frustrating when it came to Emma.
We do multiple enewsletters but the formatting and styling options are passé and lame.

Cons

There's very little I dislike about this software. My only complaint is small - when creating a new sequence, you can't change the "trigger" that initiates the flow.
This is just a really disingenuous way to price as you get charged for that user every month even if you dont email a list member.
It was difficult to understand at first. You would have to read a lot of documentation before you can understand basic features.

If you're looking for an alternative ESP and are tired of MailChimp, Klaviyo, or Constant Contact, then you really should give Emma a try. We've had a very pleasant experience with Emma, and their staff is there to answer questions for you any time of day. They are extremely knowledgeable and can help with the most complex requests.

Pros

The thing i like most about Emma is how easy things are to manage. The UI is laid out in a way that makes it very straightforward to get what you need to do, done. ;) Things are laid out in a very easy to understand way.

Cons

We don't like the creeping cost of Emma. That is really the only thing that we don't like about Emma.

I started the free trial and saw a great potential for my dropshipping store when I started doing emailing. so I got my account upgrade and my conversions raised up to 23% since then I use klaviyo in all my stores. Emailing marketing its a MUST in e-commerce so if you are starting into the business you really should consider in getting only the best o the best softwares out there because the better the help you have the better your business will be.

Pros

I loved the feature of sending sms to my costumers at my drop shipping store. Its really easy and simple to use. Also I increased my conversions by 23% only by email marketing

Cons

Really have not much to say about what I liked the least about this software because it. helped me out a lot for my drop shipping store.

Pros

Tracks customer behaviour in real time. Great for personalization with dynamic content tags. Integration with Shopify is awesome!

Cons

It takes a while to get your head around some of the settings and setting it up. To make the most of it, some basic coding knowledge will help. Otherwise, I would recommend getting an expert to help with setup.

Overall, it is an awesome email automation software, The cost is justified by the features.

Pros

Integrates well with my shopify store. Got a free trial of the software until I hit a larger amount of customers. Also like the drag and drop feature of the email templates.

Cons

Once you go over the free tier, the monthly price is somewhat high when compared to other providers. Support is also sometimes slow.

I have increased my order total attributed to email marketing and plan to increase it more by my continued use.

Pros

I love the ease of use, especially in regards to their automation features. Using their automatic email flows, I have been able to substantially increase sales on our website. And now with their new visual UI, I can actually visualize when an email will be sent and who will receive it.

Cons

I would like to see more ability to customize certain aspects of the emails I send. I have a very custom website and would love to add some custom fields to my contact's details and use those in my emails.

With Klaviyo we were able to market and remarket to potential and current customers and as a result increased sales by over 100%.

Pros

Compatibility was the more vital feature with this program. We needed something that would remarket to potential customers that were directed to our site via paid ads as well as deploy campaign specific emails. This program is seamless with those integrations.

Cons

It took a bit to get the hang of the software, but once we knew what we were doing the opportunities to remarket and campaign were endless. Klaviyo has many tutorials and active forums that will answer almost any question.

I work in an e-commerce company and we deal with 100+ shopify stores on a daily basis. I manage a team of 5 who work on designing emails for these stores and klaviyo is the only platform we use to send our emails. A Very happy and satisfied customer. Super easy to integrate with other apps too!

Pros

It's very user friendly and can be well understood by new users. Very helpful support team! Quick learning videos that really help with self learning.

Cons

I wish they had more options to create a more targeted segment to send emails. Although there is a lot one can play around with but some more can help target customers as per their behavior.

Despite the cons I laid out above, if you do have decent traffic and a good list size, you're missing out by not using klaviyo.

Pros

Klaviyo is the gold standard in eCommerce email & SMS marketing for a reason. It serves as a central hub for all your customer data and is the foundational building block for a strong segmentation & CLV strategy. It's extremely powerful with lots of features to tailor your marketing to your specific business case. I've also been very pleased with Klaviyo's customer support and educational resources.

Cons

Let's face it — this isn't the cheapest email software out there. For small eComm companies that are just starting out, it likely isn't the best option. The price isn't justified unless you have a decent-sized list and traffic on your site. It's also complex so there's a little bit of a learning curve.

Good so far, it's just that we might end the long term relationship by the end of this year, since our monthly subscription keeps on increasing.

Pros

We like that we are able to send mass emails while still complying to CAN-SPAM guidelines. We also like that we can create workflow to target specific audience based on their behaviour.

Cons

We would prefer Klaviyo to be cheaper - it's getting more and more expensive and we might need to look for an alternative soon.

Pros

By and far, this is the absolute best software for creating targeted campaigns for ecommerce businesses. You can create highly targeted and segmented campaigns and get great insight with the analytics.

Cons

The learning curve in setting things up properly can take a bit of time. It's not something you can really set up in 10 minutes but there are lots of how-to's on the site to guide you through setting up your flows and customized segments.

Pros

This is by far the best email marketing software I’ve ever used. It’s easy to set up and use, very self-explanatory, has every function you could want and is a great value for money compared to competitors.

Cons

Absolutely nothing. I’ve had only great experiences with Klaviyo, both the actual software and their customer support who are top notch.

A powerful tool to implement a unique advertising campaign via email and SMS

With Klaviyo, our e-mail and SMS marketing capabilities have evolved, and we can expand our marketing operations and target new segments of customers. With Klaviyo, we also have a library of analytics for all our previous campaigns, and we've taken advantage of it by keeping its flaws under scrutiny and continuous improvement.

Pros

I love the fact that Klaviyo gives us multiple options so that we can filter existing and potential customers and send out promotions and alerts on a regular basis. I love Klaviyo's ability to categorize customers into multiple segments based on their data and past transaction history, allowing for unique email and SMS formatting to suit each segment's needs. I also like the fact that it is easy to create new campaigns by using the ready-made templates provided by Klaviyo, and I also like the ease of importing and preparing contact lists and also scheduling send dates. I appreciate the excellent reports that Klaviyo provides us with, which give us a comprehensive analysis of the interaction of customers with our campaigns, and we can determine by means of these reports the extent of the success of those campaigns.

Cons

I haven't had any technical issues with Klaviyo. The user interface is very intuitive, all the tools are clear and easy to use, and I love the fact that there is a support team ready to help us and answer our queries at all times.

The best email service out there for ecommerce

Not so easy to start using it but it's worth it.

Pros

The level of segmentation and automation that you can get with this is the best out there. Segmentation is the key in marketing and in emails in crucial. You can segment even by products purchases, quantities or frequency. Simply awesome!

Cons

The price. It cost almost twice or more than Mailchimp for example, but if segmentation is important to you, it is worth it.

Pros

Klaviyo's e-commerce focus, data-driven approach, ease of use, and scalability set it apart from other similar products in the market. Klaviyo is appreciated by users for its user-friendly interface, advanced segmentation capabilities, integrations with other tools, analytics, and personalization features.

Cons

so far the onboarding team. they are the least helpful and always redirect to the documents which is an ocean of hyperlinks. never-ending struggle

The Best option since Mailchimp and Shopify broke up

Klaviyo is a perfect solution for Shopify users it basically has everything you need to pamper your customers by the time you increase your sales and loyalty. The best part, they offer a free subscription then you can upgrade according to your needs.

Pros

The most important thing for me is the Shopify integration. Emailing is one of the best tools to increase customer loyalty and re-purchasing at e-commerce and Klaviyo was designed to really help in this matter. All their flows are perfectly set and are very easy to customize.

Cons

It took me time to understand how Klaviyo works as I was really customed to MailChimp interface and if you are too, probably you need to test a lot before sending your first campaign or run your first flow.

Gets the job done

Pros

- Provides several templates for all kinds of emails. - Easy procedures to send email - Emails are responsive ie mobile optimised - Good UI - Option to edit email via HTML makes it more comvenient - The platform has the option of a by default unsubscribe footer of emails.

Cons

- Sometimes the format of the email breaks hence the entire email template has to be made again. This is the only con I encountered.

excellent value for small marketing team

Pros

I helped a small team come up with new marketing campaign flows and improve existing ones for their email campaigns by working with them on content and design layout. They saw big improvements in customer win-backs, so I can't rate this product high enough.

Cons

I have carpal tunnel, so having to point and click around with the mouse is painful, but it must be done.
