Pros

“Occasionally uploading powerpoint files would take several attempts, but rarely an issue.”

Scott B.

Systems Admin Analyst

“We worked together customizing the introductory screens, preloading player content, configuring players and providing tracking information to all key team members. ”

Jody S.

VP Customer Care

“install requirements; had to get our IT to collaborate with truDigital team to work out the accommodations of the platform with our existing IT infrastructure.”

Bryan R.

EHS Manager

Pros

“It offers reliable performance and provides useful scheduling features that help organize content efficiently. While there are some limitations in terms of advanced customization and media management, it still delivers a solid and dependable solution for digital signage needs.”

Dragan P.

IT Manager

“There is very little to complain about with Play Digital Signage. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the ability to push updates to a screen even when it is powered off, so that the latest content is ready immediately when the screen is turned back on”

Albane L.

Food and beverage coordinator

“It would be nice if I could have my custom screen size be saved so I don't have to input the aspect ratio under advanced settings every time I make a new playlist and if the playlist layouts could be applied to the custom aspect ratios.”

Cheri M.

Brand and Operations Manager

Cons

“Cost per media box was not worth it, we found a competitor that offered twice as many media boxes for almost half the cost.”

Scott B.

Systems Admin Analyst

“I can't delete multiple slides or items at one time.”

Susan F.

Marketing and Communications Director

“It took a month for equipment to get here.”

Bill C.

Executive Director

Cons

“Trial messaging overlays or strict playlist duration limits can suddenly pop up and disrupt the professionalism of your screens until you upgrade.”

Marco L.

Engineer

“Theres a big rectangle marked with a reminder that youre using a trial version, which makes it a bit harder to see the finished product on your screen.”

Marlon B.

Verwaltungsfachangestellter

“One downside of Play Digital Signage is that some of the limitations around the free plan are not very clear at first, which can be a bit frustrating when you start using it.”
