This is the only program I have found that has a decent free option for managing grants. It is a huge step above outdated Excel spreadsheets, but does take some time to optimize for your organization's preferred use.

I am not an organized person. Fluxx Grantseeker has kept me from forgetting some very important deadlines. It is intuitive. When I was first testing the system, your team was super-quick to respond. Whenever I told them about something I'd like, it would end up in the next release. Either they were listening to my feedback, or they knew exactly how to make the product better.

Grantseeker has been marvellous for my clients who have never really thought about building their grant pipeline capability. It's a great grant project management and grant application teaching tool.  It's a decent grant prospect managing tool as well and I plan to explore its capabilities for prospecting more in the upcoming year.

My two larger clients need more reporting flexibility.  Though they purchased Grantseeker on my recommendation, both of them are probably going to look for additional software or return to customized spreadsheets.

Great product

Fluxx Grantseeker has saved our organization quite a bit of money.  Despite the fact that it's free, the software is full featured. We use it for every step of the grant-seeking and grant-reporting process. We're applying more efficiently now and managing reporting schedules with ease. It's really one of the best systems on the market; and the free price tag makes it a clear winner for small organizations that need to better manage their grant requests and reporting schedules.

We were using GrantStation, and it was great for looking up different grant opportunities but it didn't help me with tracking grants. And I missed a grant opportunity, I missed the deadline and it cost a few thousand dollars. So I came across Grantseeker, and it does everything that I need it to do. Not only can I keep track of all the funders, or possible funders, but I can keep track of each and every step of the proposal writing process and the followup process. It allows me to keep track of all the reports and when they're due, and how I'm doing in my grant raising.
                                                       Grantseeker was easy to get started with. I was able to just upload my existing information from spreadsheets and also enter things by hand. And then as I kept everything up to date, I'm the only person working on development, but I could send reports to everybody else who wants to know about how things are going, such as my board of directors. If you're considering getting Grantseeker, go ahead and try it out. They have a free week or so of letting you use the full features, and their system for looking for prospective new funders is really good. It gets into some of the more in-depth ways of looking, so you don't get one giant list that you're excluded from applying for. So just go ahead and try it out. Also, they are very responsive if you have any questions.
