Acumatica replaced our legacy system smoothly and we appreciated the benefits of the changes immediately. i looked at several other ERP's from QuickBooks to NetSuite and Acumatica was by far the best alternative
Acumatica is flexible and very reasonably priced. it has many valuable features built in and works well with other applications
It takes a lot of expertise to configure Acumatica for a mid-size business. A good partner is critical

Acumatica has helped our company improve our operations and handle significant growth. We moved from basic Quickbooks functionality to full inventory and manufacturing control. The improved transaction controls have reduced the amount of errors done in normal business processes. We've also been able to engage employees at all levels into our system.
Ease of use, comprehensive list of features, Report writing and General Inquiry functionality,
The worst part of Acumatica is how it handles Email. System email accounts, while not a horrible idea, just don't work well. The worst part of that is how the outgoing emails use the system accounts. Outside contacts end up saving these email addresses instead of the "real" user email. Then when they email us using those email addresses the emails go nowhere. All emails should be sent using the user's real email address, and preferably their email client such as Outlook. Third party VAR modules are harder to coordinate. Upgrades are too frequent and expensive if you do not have your own development staff. Customization requires development capabilities. Should be more user-level customization tools similar to Report Writer and GI screen.

QuickBooks is great accounting tool to make accounting easy, fun and simple for any business user. Accounting is not anymore a hardcore accountants job, in fact, it becomes simple like putting details into a spreadsheet
Simplicity, User friendliness, and reporting capabilities. QuickBooks is fun to use and it has integration with many good cloud solution which makes it robust like a mini ERP.
Several essential features are missed because of XYZ or design reasons. Also, lack of strong inventory module makes it useless for many

We are a small business and uses QuickBooks as an ERP system. It's a great stepping stone for small business to a mid-range ERP system.
Nice clean interface and not clutered with too much information which makes it easy to understand what you are looking at and where you are in the program.
QuickBooks server needs to be rebooted once a week as users complain about how slow the software is.

The accounting function within a business can easily be managed by owners without the need for accounting staff, and many add-ons available depending upon the needs of the business.
It just has everything a business needs for accounting and reporting. So easy to use and easy to collaborate with my accountant. highly recommended
There is no ERP functionality so it does not suit a manufacturing company

Ease of use is a driver of why we use this software!
If inventory management was a concern, I think a different ERP system would be needed.

Software works great with multiple users - it's pretty solid. The interface is adaptable and really easy to navigate between all the versions.
It's not a robust system like a full ERP/MRP but for financials it's great.

ERP System can be a good start up for any business
I liked its ease of use, very user friendly. It does not take a long time to train new staff. The navigational features are logically arranged.
I don't like that posted invoices can still be edited.

QuickBooks is a good value for the money. It works fine for day-to-day transactions such as A/R, A/P, and data entry, but it's not the best for things like forecasting and financial reporting.
QuickBooks provides a good value for the money, which is especially helpful in small businesses.
After working in complex and customized ERP systems, QuickBooks feels a little archaic in comparison.

Our previous ERP platform had a very weak integrated finance module. When we changed to a new ERP we were able to take advantage of the QuickBooks integration. We haven't looked back since.
The ability to integrate this application with our core ERP platform provided us with a significant leap forward in terms of financial management flexibility.
No real complaints. We spent more time getting our "non-finance oriented" staff up to speed than predicted but I think this would be true with any platform.

Widely used by financial services industry so it's easy for my 3rd party tax accountant to go into my books and prepare my year end reports and filings. It's relatively good value for money.
There are many intergration options with other systems (ERP, TMS, CRM), but it's hit or miss.

Comparable to big name SAAS ERP. Ease of use and multiple apps was what I liked the most
Lack of customization and inability to integrate with power bi was a drawback
Hi there, Rohit. While you can find a ton of customization tips in spaces like our Community database (https://intuit.me/2rJQ95o), please know we have a library's worth of integration options. Our App Center hosts hundreds of ready-made add-ons, like this one for Power Bi (https://apps.intuit.com/powerbi). We're proud to be backing you, by the way. All the best! Jess, The QuickBooks Team

Very affordable for what it does. Can integrate with lots of different inventory and ERP software out there.
Does have a limit on lines of data you can keep if you don't buy the highest version of the software. So once your company really starts to grow and you either get a lot of different customers or vendors you'll need to upgrade in order to not have to merge lines of data.

I used QuickBooks a lot. In my current company, we use QuickBook for all consolidated entities in US and internationally. Experience is very positive. Our international locations are able to input monthly data into QuickBooks, timely for consolidation. Our US locations use QuickBooks with a lot of functionality. Reporting is very simple and logical for accountant. It is very easy to generate income statement and balance sheet, double click on any number and export details in Excel right away.
QuickBooks is very widely used and is extremely simple. It just follows accounting login without extra thinking and it is very convenient. You can extract basically anything into Excel in a few seconds. You can double click on any number in balance sheet or PL report and get full details of accounts and then, entries. As for small and medium businesses, it is definitely my 1st choice. Everyone knows...
When your business grows, it eventually outgrow QuickBooks and you need to implement new ERP, such as Oracle or SAP. I can't think of any other issues. QuickBooks is really a good ERP to start with. Also, many companies might not grow to that large corporations which need larger ERP. Also, QuickBooks does not have audit trial (necessary for public companies), but you can incorporate month-end closing password preventing people from modifying prior period records, after month is closed.
Reviews like yours are why we do this as it's wonderful to read your comments about how QuickBooks has been easy for you to use and implements in your businesses, while still providing you detailed and logical insights from reports. In regards to your cons, QuickBooks actually has a built-in audit trail report called the "Audit Log". If you'd like to see more about this report, please see the following article: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Help-Articles/The-Audit-Log-What-it-is-how-to-use-it/m-p/186180 I hope this helps to clarify the Audit Log report. Thank you again for the lovely review and for being a long-time user of the program. All the best, Clay, The QuickBooks Team

Quickbooks is fairly intuitive and easy to pick up, regardless of your experience with any other entry-level ERP.
Sometimes, running the right reports and exporting them to Excel can be a little cumbersome take a few unnecessary steps.
I'm glad QuickBooks has been so easy for you to pick up and use. With this said, I want to take the time to to help you streamline report exports. To start, these articles tackle exports, and have easy to follow overviews of the steps: community.intuit.com/articles/1436572 (Desktop) or community.intuit.com/articles/1254966 (Online). As for running the correct reports, I'd be glad to discuss this with you further. Please feel free to send me an email at qbcares@intuit.com, where we can dig in and get you squared away. Overall positive experience and it helped me save time and money
1. Easy to use and learn. Not much of a learning curve for new users, specially if they do basic tasks. 2. Free trial version is available to get a look and feel before taking buying decision. 3. Feature to help with tax filing and saving actually helped me save on getting an outside accountant for tax filing
Ideal for small businesses but not sure if it can compete with huge ERP which may be more suitable for larger organization.
