Ease of use, simple interface, easy to teach new employees how to use the software.

Lack of features. Other competitors such as Samsara offer more features/functionality at a better price.

Where to start. Daily monitoring and ease of editing drivers logbooks. Sharing location (live) with techs and repair services, of down units. Allowing techs and others users creative limits on access to information. Reports, reports, reports. There are so many reports made available, and easy to understand. Customer support! Best customer support staff you can wish for.

It isn't on every machine we have in the fleet!

Software was so easy to set up and use. We also use the on dash cameras which have proven very useful in providing teaching moments to our drivers.

No cons. This has been the best product to manage our fleet.

Inputting time of departure can cause errors. Finding out ETA is sometimes difficult but definitely easier with the software than without.

Samsara has a wide range of equipment and a comprehensive package of tools to monitor your fleet safety, compliance, temperature control monitoring, and other aspects of your fleet with plenty of reporting and setting options.

I do not like the customer support. You get the run around and escalation process via email and on the phone with people you can hardly understand. I have bad module units that should have been under warranty. We ended up just throwing them in the back room and purchasing new ones. That is not how customer service should be, but the fact of how frustrating it got.

Accurate position, real time tracking. Many extra features that help with fleet management

The inability to hover over the path taken by a vehicle at any point to see what the time / speed of the vehicle was at that time. It only logs a time when the vehicle is stopped for a while

The GPS and fleet tracking is great and have no complaints.

AVOID. Samsara is truly the worst customer service business we have ever dealt with. We have literally never been helped on an ongoing billing issue that we've experienced for years. I have created support tickets, had days of back and for email communication, at least 25 phone calls with multitudes of people and have never made 1 step of progress. I have even gone as far (as bad as I felt) making formal complaints about the last FOUR people who have "helped" me hoping this would cause an elevation to get this resolved and astonishingly nothing happened. Not even an email or phone call back.

Easy to use, all online, and very effective. Makes tracking vehicles and monitoring speeds/vehicle condition great. Can see entire fleet or single vehicle with click of a button. Can make the vehicle public so customers can track the vehicles with a link.

Not much, the limited wifi can be annoying and the driver app is confusing to some of our less technical drivers but overall great.

I love knowing where my fleet is at any time within literal feet of their vehicle! Being able to have access to that is priceless. I also love being able to see what kind of time my driver have left to be on the road so I can maximize efficiency of loads.

There are so many programs within Samara to optimize your fleet that it can feel a little overwhelming.

Very robust for our purposes; can be overwhelming on features for our use and sometimes confusing when those features are shown. Could be simplified on the feature's showing for our direct use case. Wifi amount included doesn't seem to work properly.

The software that Samsara provides is the best thing our company has come across when searching for GPS tracking and ELOGS tied into one.

The installation time per vehicle is very short but depending on the size of your fleet and if you use the asset tracking it could take more time than expected.

Seeing where my fleet is works. All other features that they offer are bothersome to your drivers.

If you are a growing company be cautious signing a contract with them. If any of your fleet is going to be idle for more than 1-2 weeks expect endless vehicle dead batteries because the samsara device has high parasitic battery draws. I love the A.I. technology, it notifies are office if a driver is distracted or playing on his phone. Safety is our priority and Samsara helps us tremendously.

I liked the Ag46 tags the least due to disconnecting and going offline, besides that the new Ag51 tags work great.

The software is easy to use and in real-time. It has the ability to pull videos of accidents and gives up to date driving alerts to keep employee's driving safely and prevent distractive driving.

Change is always difficult but this program was easy to transition to and make rolling out to the dispatch department a piece of cake.

The ability to store information and add alerts to share with others.

It would be nice to upload and store pictures of records.

Samsara has helped to optimize my fleet. It is very accurate for tracking purposes and outperforms other ELD's that I have used.

Customer service is slow to get fixes for issues that we have encountered during the initial launch phase.

Intuitive, fast learning curve, the possibility of editing logs, speed, the option of temporary line for tracking a vehicle which I can give out to brokers (nobody likes 4 AM check calls)

I would like to see integrated SMS texting within the app, other than that I have no issues whatsoever

Nothing with Samsara but our TMS provider took a very long time to integrate.
