Pros

Customer Support is Outstanding. They truly work to satisfy the customer to the best of their abilities and recommend work around where needed.
We loved having a dedicated implementation specialist who tracked our progress and made suitable suggestions to fit our business style.
Not only has this program fulfilled both of those categories, it has opened up our vision to other ways to improve our plants growth and communication.

Pros

The best benefit on MaintainX for me is keeping up with what needs to be done, we have 37 locations over two states and it helps me stay informed and prioritize deployment of assets.
I love this app, Very easy to open and to record any safety Or maintenance issues , So easy to submit photos and any notes that need to go along With your observations, It’s quick and user friendly.
I will keep using it and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a maintenance software... it works well and has excellent support when you run into a jam and need help.

Cons

The other function I wished eMAINT had would be a way to record multiple readings for performing calibrations that would show percent of error with an automatic pass/fail.
There are some features that are difficult to use without training which is offered by Fluke.
One more week, more wasted time and we were again told they could not deliver on what they had promised.

Cons

The one thing I dislike about the app is that when work orders are closed they still.appear in closed orders for my team. I would.love to see the option to archive these while still be searchable.
It was a mess without a method to keep communication organized. The previous person in my position would just scribble a jumble of notes to try and remember everything.
Scheduling is a pain as you cant reorder the jobs on a calendar. Cant easily see who is assigned to a job in calendar view.

Pros

I love that the mobile app is fully functional. Many other CMMS systems have a dumbed down mobile app.

Cons

Pros

The ease of navigation through the software and good support.

MaintainX is very quick to respond to any concerns. It's a big upgrade from our previous CMMS software.

Pros

Digital Storage of our work order history. Easy of reviewing completed work orders with pass/flag/fail-inspections. Automatic prompts to create corrective actions. Ease of use for our technicians; even those who have difficulties with technology easily learned using the software on ipads.

Cons

Reports could be improved. Overdue work order reports are too bulky when exported to PDF.

We started getting good technician comments and work order time tracking on Day 1. Input of requests by Production was immediate and praised by Requesters

Pros

I have implemented 6 different CMMS programs over my career. MaintainX has been the easiest to implement, easiest to train technicians, and fastest to be adopted for a small to medium sized department.

Cons

Reporting is somewhat fixed in the standard Dashboard but you can create custom Dashboards

Planned maintenance and cost tracking is so much easier. And keeping track of operator checks

Pros

Very easy to use, lots of features to get a hold of. Inventory stock easily accessible. On the cheaper side of CMMS systems so amazing for smaller companies. Keeps log of downtime on machines to create reports/audit reports.

Cons

It would be good to have a budget spreadsheet, but to get around it i use the PO system to keep track. Would also be good to have access to more custom dashboards on a premium plan

MaintainX has improved massively our Maintenance procedures and during last year we never had any reliability issues with it. MX is now one of our core digital tools in the digital transformation process.

Pros

It has all the main core functionality you need for CMMS software. It has API connectivity which makes it easy to connect to other software like Power BI. The support from MX team is great and they will quickly implement your requirements.

Cons

Dashboards are only available to subscribed users.

I could not be happier with the system MaintainX has helped me build. In fact, MaintainX is helping us spread this powerful tool to all of our sites.

Pros

Easyto use, fully featured CMMS system. Top notch customer service and support. MaintainX will instantly change how you do things. The file cabinets and binders will be gone for ever and your data will know be at your finger tips.

Cons

After over 2 years of use I can't find anything not to like.

Very Good. I have been able to track PMs more easily.

Pros

The ability to use on devices is great for mobility. The interface is clean and uncomplicated, yet is deep and offers many options for me to save data for later use. It is quite intuitive compared to the last CMMS we were using.

Cons

Honestly not much. If anything it might be there is less focus on desktop, which is fine with me. There are some in our organization which is better for them to send me work requests. Of course this may already exist and I just haven't gotten that far yet!

A cloud based CMMS software has been a lifesaver. MaintainX has improved communication between shifts and reduced down time. After 1 yr of use, we are now creating predictive maintenance work orders.

Pros

Has all the necessary features to efficiently schedule a maintenance department without having too many to get confusing. Reporting is great to see a live overview. Implementation took a little time but the interface on the PC makes it a breeze. Customer service was very helpful and gave a 1 on 1 experience. This software was essential in converting from an old paper system.

Cons

Not much I could say is a con. Be prepared to be computer savvy.

Our inventory control, and tracking is top notch now, and our downtime is at an all time low due to the instant notifications, and ability to track progress on the mobile app.

Pros

Maintain is easy toocations. learn, and use. Myself I use the CMMS side of it more, we started with no inventory / spare parts tracking system for the Maintenance Dept., and within a year have well over 1000 parts / assets entered and bar coded

Cons

Only thing I would like to see is more search capability when looking up parts inventory on the mobile app. When setting at the computer I can search parts inventory by many different categories, on mobile I can only search directly by the items name.

MaintainX is our organization's first CMMS. MaintainX has helped streamline facilities' work order requests and management. As our business rapidly grows, having a cloud-based platform that is accessible to any of our remote sites is a massive win for us.

Pros

Working in a critical industry, Facilities uptime and preventative maintenance are everything! MaintainX has helped us reduce downtime and improve our organization's reliability. This all comes while still being a fraction of the cost of other solutions.

Cons

I wish there were options to build reports based on the original purchase price of assets vs maintenance and operations costs for LCA purposes.

Best CMMS I've used.

Before finding MaintainX, I was using paper work orders and tracking everything on either notepads, excel documents, or post-it notes. I knew I needed a better solution. I found and implemented MaintainX just in time, as only a week after setting up my database, I was seeing over 100 new work orders a week. Now I'm learning how to use the API to complete tasks in a fraction of the time it was taking me just weeks ago.

Pros

You can really tell this system was designed from the ground up for people on the ground. Too many CMMS systems were designed by people who do not use them, and it shows. The ease of functionality, and robust options make MaintainX stand out above other options from very well established industry leaders.

Cons

There are some functions I'd like added, but the team is very responsive and have already made improvements to the software in the short time I've been a customer.

This product will perform as advertised for way less money than other CMMS products. You can have full users and requesters. I used MaintainX at a different organization and when I took this new position I had to have it. Also, MaintainX allows you to pay monthly instead of a large yearly fee.

I am still learning the reports and how to utilize

Its a powerful tool to keep up will all the request we receive, to make sure nothing is forgotten.We've started including procedure for common task, which allows new hire to perform task with less supervision, and more effectively.

Pros

We chose MaintainX over other CMMS because it was simple and easy to use for some of our techs who are not that computer-savvy.Been using it for a lil over a year and its great, work order dont slip in the cracks anymore, the procedure library is a powerful tool and the android app is really nice.

Cons

Some of the feature are sometimes too simple, missing some options, but then we chose it for its simplicity so cant complain.

A view from a managers perspective

Our team works to accomplish 400 jobs per day and we are integrating all of our systems onto this platform in stages. The company has been very easy to work with, and always professional and precise. I am optimistic when the reporting side is up and running this will be our long term solution to CMMS operations.

Pros

Very user friendly - the ease of use for the end user is done very well. Short learning curve for end users The contact folks are always very receptive, and gracious taking the time necessary to help us with issues.

Cons

The high end administrator and management tools are in development. Not very robust at this time, but the company has been very open to improvements and implementation of changes.

MaintainX

The only CMMS you should consider.

When we made the decision to choose MaintainX as our CMMS, our account manager was very thorough and helped us to be up and running in a matter of days. We were already gaining benefit after around a month of use. Admittedly the team at MaintainX shouldered a lot of the workload, but it really helped. This kind of support is what I suspect makes MaintainX such an easy choice. People couldn't quite believe how fast we were able to integrate.

Pros

MaintainX has much to offer. If I were to nail it down to one thing, I would need to point out that the ease of use comes first and foremost. It is the one thing my team have all fed back as the major factor when picking it up for the first time.

Cons

I don't want to seem negative, because overall, the system is phenomenal. If pressed, I would have to say that compatibility with other software could be better. This isn't really a fair criticism though, as the team are constantly updating the system.
