The Receptionist for iPad is a digital visitor management system designed for streamlined front desk operations. The only con I can think of is the customer service, it was difficult to get hold of our rep after several emails and calls to setup our service from a free trial, we almost decided against using Envoy but I so glad we didn't give up.

Envoy makes it easy to keep track of all visitors coming into the facility for any reason (employee, vendor, visitor, member, etc.) by using one of the three options of manually signing in via iPad provided by Envoy, scanning a QR code, or manually signing in via website.

Once people realized that they would get notification of a visitor even if our front desk person was not there (which is frequent as she is very busy with many projects), they were very receptive to the system.

With Covid Envoy has come up with useful tools for us to you to keep the system touchless which is very helpful as well as the ability to pre-register visitors and add in signable documents.

As it is something new for everyone it is a little confusing but as you go using it you will get the trick and find it is super easy to use, to me personally being TechOps it helps me a lot with the deliverys because I use the app to send emails to TWers directly by just scanning the package without having to contact them or send tickets, this is what I liked the most, it makes the work less tedious and faster.

We are able to pre-register visitors to speed up their check-in time using the Outlook add-in.  

Now with Envoy, we never miss a guest or visitor and our staff is quickly notified via email that there is a guest in the reception area waiting for them.
