I like the idea of integrating forms with mobile devices. However, what really clinched it for me was the solution’s integration with other applications in the cloud. For example, I can already see a situation in which I export data gleaned from customer surveys to Google spreadsheets or some such application.

Babich also told me that they plan to increase the number of integrations. In the future, he said the application would be able to integrate with popular cloud applications such as Drive, Box and DropBox.

Device Magic got a proof of concept going in 48 hours

Our field service representatives have been able to use this within a variety of places. The offline data collection capabilities are very important in areas where wifi or cell coverage is limited. This includes within buildings, basements, and rural areas.

One program replacing potentially many apps

DMMFs have been a bit of a godsend - we've been able to use them with multiple platforms and the product that DFFM has produced is always a usable, easily queried data set.  Our drivers have substantially improved quality of service due to no longer having to use paper copies except in extenuating circumstances and our office and administration staff are much happier about being able to simply receive reports from drivers by E-Mail instead of having to wait for them to actually return from the road.  It definitely allows us to quickly address customer needs far more efficiently than previous methods.

The benefits I get from using salesforce are exceptional. I am able to check on my days off what I need to look into when I get to work. I can see if a client has replied to my inquiry or if they are still getting more information for me. 

Salesforce the ticketing system

SFDC's Service Cloud enable's me as an account manager to quickly pull up customer cases to address issues with customers in real time. This is especially helpful when used with the SFDC mobile app. The integration with SFDC Sales Cloud allows me to get up to speed on customer cases and issues so that I can improve the customer experience from an account management perspective and work directly with the support team to help resolve issues. This solution has enabled me to provide quick insight and solutions to my customers, that used to take days or weeks to research.

I've been using it for over 6 months and in my experience, Salesforce is a great platform but not everything is perfect. The platform is complex so I highly recommend finding a good implementation partner.

This platform allows me to visualize, analyze the progress that has been made during the day, week, month or year because it allows me to store and manage important data about my company, since it allows me to observe the sales, the service provided, the campaigns of marketing that have been launched, the flow of trade that has been obtained, the productivity of the company, etc. This allows me to access the platform on any device since this platform is cloud-based, it also has a mobile version.

It is a very unique cloud-based help desk tool which is different from many other traditional softwares. I quickly learned the essentials to get what I needed. Besides all the ease of use, the tech support team is wonderful.

Plus the field collection process is really fast, including the great geostamp and timestamp features under the radar. The barcode reader is extremely accurate and super fast.

The mobile app has a great interface and is very useful in the field.

The flexiblity DeviceMagic provides in designing forms as well as "exporting" submissions to various other platforms is of great help to our Company.

If you do a good job and know how to ask the right questions in a structured way, the end result is really nice and really intuitive to use.

You have to pay for each additional user which costs  and can add up. Naming the app Forms and the company Device Magic confused our staff sometimes, too.

Super easy to get up and running. Easy to make modifications on the fly.

Good direct customer support, small team, direct involvement. Good FAQ and support pages.

The only downside is that once a form is dispatched to a device, it cannot be subsequently edited, in any way other than transferring to a different device.

The platform is very easy to use, flexible, and has great integration options for storing data.

Some of the integrations are limited. It is a bit more difficult to use 'live' data as a source within the forms.

Great user friendly product  but needs better reporting on the backend. Also has good customer support.

Increase in mobile data usage was significant and unexpected. Irrespective the increased cost, the app still represents a good value.

Only the licensing model. We have some devices that we only need to use a few times per year to submit data but need to pay for full license for every device.

Great product but more and more overpriced as other options have become available for less.
