We started using Service Autopilot December 2016 and it has streamlined our operations! Frees up so much time that we didn't have before and not sure why we waited so long to make the move. Routing capabilities, dispatch board, crew manangment, invoicing. Its a CRM that continues to get better. The best benefit... it has allowed us to focus more on the business so we can grow faster!
It took a little time to set up but that's really not an issue. For us, we waited to long to make the switch to SA.

My overall experience with Service Autopilot was good, it just didn't provide everything I needed as we transitioned more into pest control.
I really liked the ability to communicate with my clients and the expansive user interface.
The main con was that there was no way to integrate the current weather conditions into my reports.

Overall I love the software and can't imagine running my business without it.
This software can do so many things. I still haven't explored every possible thing it can do and I'm up on a year using it. For me the automations that it offers are a game changer. It also makes routing and scheduling so much easier and more efficient than software's I have used in the past.
I don't think this software is the right fit for everyone. If you are a smaller company like just a few guys or a crew or two on the road a day it's probably unnecessary but for medium to larger companies its a great fit. Sometimes the software can get glitchy here and there. Lastly its not super user friendly and takes a little time to get used to everyone. Once you do it is great though and feels easy to use.

After submitting a solid dozen or so "Trouble tickets" for them to look into "Fixing" issues.... nothing ever comes of them. Its become quite the joke. It gets old. They are always pushing new features, in order to up the amount they can charge. They are fairly expensive compared to many others, but I was willing to pay whatever I needed to, in order to run an efficient company. With all of the issues they have, they fall flat. Oh, and they are upping their prices again in 2 months. I can't even justify the thousands I pay them already per year! So we are changing companies. Hopefully we will have better luck this go around.
Feature packed, routing, assigning jobs to crews, client data etc
Theres too many to count. Its become a joke around the office. The software is glitchy, and after 3 years of using it, we continue to find issue after issue. Payments that were entered somehow vanished, basic things such as being able to search for payments or other data is sometimes lacking as well. They seem to be in a HUGE rush to push the latest NEW FEATURE, that they never get any of the old features solidified. The snow plowing side of the software is completely different than the lawn side, which is very odd and requires learning 2 different ways of creating routes and dispatching crew etc.

As a Husband and Father of 2 young boys service autopilot allows me to spend some much needed family time
It has so many features, as a small business owner this will cut down on labor cost and place control in the palm of your hand. Everything looks very professional to my customers to the point that it makes my company seem larger than it is.
I don’t have any cons because it’s worth more than the cost and if you go thru the training courses it teaches you how to excel through it.

No idea why some of these major bugs havent been worked out and why the current system hasnt been tweaked.
I like the estimate presentation, how customers can e-sign estimates, the forms feature except for all the glitchiness on the app

We were very excited to get started with a package that is seemed like it would be a powerful tool to reduce our office work. It has reduced our office work but I am not sure that it has done so more than another service would have. There are lots of intended features. The vision for the software includes the ability to do many powerful things. Automations is a great way to reduce the burden on office staff.
There are too many problems. We have reported literally hundreds of issues that are still not resolved. The customer service staff make a ticket but nothing ever gets fixed. On a daily basis we have dozens of things we have to check because SA does not consistently record information correctly or consistently records it incorrectly. There does not seem to be a quality control team at SA. Recently they attempted to have very hyped up live broadcast about some new features being released and even that failed to work correctly. I just found it humorous that SA consistently fails at ensuring a quality experience for their users and this proved my point.

Much easier than using a spreadsheet and hand inputting info into invoices and estimates.
The estimate, invoice templates and customization for letters is awesome. Other companies need to take a look at making easily customizable forms for invoicing and estimates. The software is excellent for emailing detailed estimates and letters. Converting leads/estimates into active customers is very simple. The pricing matrix conversions (size or piece per job into prices) is extraordinarily well done. Honestly, the software setup shows a ton of promise. I believe it could easily be the best out there if they would fix the basics listed below.
They do not have the basics down. Payments that are applied to balances are constantly unassociating from accounts. I spend 10-15 hours per week rechecking this error which causes serious billing problems and has cost me customers. Payment check boxes also tend to dissociate every once in a while. The software is easy to use and visually helps understand what the schedule is for each crew each day.
That the software automatically texts the crew leader a link for the schedule/ service for the day and its Espanol.
I know it is still in the works, where we can create one-time jobs but a schedule for multiple days. Other than that, the software is good.

The overall time savings frees up myself and my staff to focus on other activities from sales to customer service. Plus savings on ink and paper products is incredible.
This software offered us the ability to move from paper and whiteboard scheduling company wide saving us hours of tedious work and tons of paper and ink from printing out daily work schedules for 14 crews.
Actually, we haven't come across very many issues with the software. Those that we did encounter were minor and quickly resolved.

Amazing!!!! I have the ability to type notes or create/ manage/ change checklists in Spanish which is super helpful with crew members who are not strong in English. It is very easy to use and understand!
I like that we communicate any needs or suggestions and the customer service response is truly the best! They listen and if they need better understanding, they ask to be able to provide help as best as possible!!! Also very user friendly for both admin and crew member use.
There is really nothing I can say I like least because any suggestions I bring to their attention they are very quick to respond to help find a solution.

It's been a HUGE time saver this past year. No more papers in the morning with "google map" printouts and written instructions. Crew likes knowing what they are doing first thing without me coming in and explaining everything. I can prep the day or days before and set everything up.
Simple to use and implement immediately. Easy to drag and drop jobs. Perfect for lining out the day's work for multiple crews, with instructions. Able to change schedule on the fly (add, skip, remove jobs, etc.) EXCELLENT personal service with regards to any questions on functionality and suggestions for changes
Had to manually enter all our customers from QB desktop which was not fun.

I have been much more efficient. The biggest help is the automatic customer notifications and the schedule being made for the entire year.
I really like that my schedule is set for the entire year and that it automatically sends texts to customers
I really want to be able to map all of our customers and build routes from that map. I also want it to record completion times and dates when the job is complete. If I get behind a day it should record the date when the service was done not when it was scheduled.

Crew control has eliminated paper work for my crews. No more lost papers. I love that I can dispatch a schedule remotely and I have real time updates on when jobs are completed. Customer service has been second to none.
How easy it was for my crews to use it.
There is nothing I don’t like so far. Any of my concerns were answered immediately.

Customer service has been key for me, I had been looking for a system ever since I stepped up and helped with getting work orders for our Crews. We had over 250 properties WEEKLY that I had to hand write. We tried a different system for 1 year and it was over priced, super complicated for both the admin and user, and the customer service was non existent. Needless to say the first time we got on...
