Pros

I like the customizable features with regards to the property setup.

Cons

I do not like how the devices are not easily identified under device management. When trying to determine which device i need to activate and or deactivate.

Hey Andrew! A Few things:

1 - There is no need to use a bar code scanner app anymore. The scanner is built-in to both the Android and Apple Apps. This will prevent the officers from logging checkpoints from the history.
2 - We can turn off the time clock feature for you so that pop-up doesn't come up any more.
3- There is an update coming in the next 30-days that will allow you to name the devices/add notes so you can easily identify where/who they are being used by.

ALERT uses the software 85% of the time from a fixed location as a "dispatcher profile" - officers at a fixed post using a Windows PC, and accessing and creating an issue report via web browser interface.

Pros

Ease in seeing information at a glance via Issue Monitor and basic trend reports.

Cons

I'd like to see the functionality to turn these numbers directly into bar/line/pie charts -- OR, to export them to Excel (instead of only PDF), so we can create our own charts for clients.

We can now monitor and fix issues as they occur and we have better accountability for our officers.

Pros

I really like the that it has everything I need in one place. Tracking, reporting, post orders, contact info, etc.

Cons

If I could change one thing I would have the software track the officers in the field at all times not just when they make an entry.

Pros

Being able to track guards through their shift, and being able to provide that to the customer as requested in invaluable and helps keep management team smaller but able to do more.

Cons

Needs more control on the automated task assignments and the notifications of them not being completed.

Pros

Within a few minutes any employee who uses a mobile device can learn Silvertrac in a few short training minutes.

Cons

If you have more than a couple of devices, the system makes device management a bit nightmarish when trying to figure out which devices to activate and de-activate - this has been my only pet peeve with the system in over a year - and we still cannot give a user defined name to each device for easy and quick identification.

It is pretty easy to use, easy to manage We used to do all our daily activity report in papers, Now silvertrac made it so easy for us, we just download reports every morning and email it to the client, for 50 site, it is taking us 2-3 hours to email, we used to have full time employee for just emailing reports, scanning the reports than emailing or mailing it out now it takes few mins for each site top email the report.

Cons

It is a perfect software, Customer Service is available 24/7. We have it for more than a year, never had a problem with it.

Pros

The Issue monitor gives you the ability to view almost live action reports, task creation allows you to customize to each individual property, GPS allows you to verify the officers location, the whole program is absolutely awesome, and pretty close to fully customizable.

Cons

There really are not many cons I can think of. this team works fast to get any issues resolved. Only issue I can think of, comes down to service provider for Cell, Use Verizon!

The biggest benefit of Silvertrac is being notified of security, maintenance, and parking issues in real-time. This allows for our client's to respond in a timely fashion to any urgent issues.

Pros

Silvertrac allows us to have a direct insight into all of our guard's activity and ensure our quality of service is being executed each and every day.

Cons

Not a severe issue... depending on your preference but as an Apple consumer, their Apple version could use some updates. Their Andriod version is seamless and responsive. Luckily, all of our work phones are Andriod.

Allowed us to do away with paper reports. A complete archive of reports is kept and is accessible at any times.
