Mostly fine. Fairly unnecessary with similar options in Microsoft Planner etc.
It has some nice visual layouts for creating and managing workflows. The boards feature is particularly nice.
It just feels like one more generic place to manage workflow among a bevy of other more integrated options.

This takes my to-do list to the next level, helping me keep track of tasks and what bigger projects or programs they're a part of.
Unfortunately as far as I can tell it doesn't integrate with Microsoft Teams or Sharepoint or other products my team is using, unlike Microsoft Planner.

I keep different boards: - Home stuff, shared with my wife - Work, I prefer using trello over Microsoft Planner! Planner is too complicated! - Future plan travel - Side business It helps me keep my life organized!
Easy to use, no manual needed, intuitive
Sometimes I would like more advanced functions, but then I remember the beauty of this software lies in its simplicity

Still use it with some clients, but prefer Microsoft Planner because it integrates perfectly with our Office suite.
Very simple to use interface Love the drag and drop features Perfect, so long as you stick to just the core of what Trello offers.
Lack of integration with Office 365 and searching within conversations / boards isn't great.

It’s super easy to use and collaborate. Has lots of features.
Price. It’s similar to Planner by Microsoft. Check to see if that will suit you first before buying this.

I like the look of Trello a lot. It is bright, customizable, and fun. It also is built perfectly to facilitate collaboration on projects, making it easy to communicate between many people managing separate tasks.
Honestly, the main con is that Microsoft Planner manages to do basically the same thing, and integrates better with other Microsoft products, so I tend to use that instead. But I have no complaints about Trello itself!

100% satisfied.
Everything! I was using Microsoft planner, but Trello offers way more features and support for effective project management of a team. it even Implements with Microsoft Teams which has been a game changer for the team that I manage.
Nothing! Everything about this app is awesome.

Great Planner
- Day to Day task can be added separately - Best is assigning task to a particular user - Colour coding helps in prioritizing the tasks
Nothing found as of now using this particular software.

Easy to sign up and get started, the tagging feature is great when you are assigning tasks to other team members to keep everyone aligned.
Not a ton of integration with office 365 yet, but most likely why Microsoft has their own version of this with the Planner app. SSO would be great to improve security features.

I like the free version of trello a bit better than Planner. Planner was a bit more intuitive.
I like that it sync with Slack. That's why I changed from Planner.
The free version has its limitations but I deal with it.

So simple to use, that no matter what else I try (e.g. Microsoft planner, Asana etc) I always come back to Trello. Similarly whenever I have gotten team members onto Trello they have enjoyed it.
No Gannt chart or calendar view by default (though available with add-ins).

Having a visual and digital space to orgaize work has been a great resource over the last several years. I find when i have a big project and challenge ahead of me gravitating to tools like trello to help me get things laid out. thank yoU!
I love that trello offers various teirs and procing to their tool- as a nonprofit employee its been easiest for me to use the tool using a free account and have had others on my team- limited in what features we have access too, but can get the core of trello and the boards still. Its a pretty simple concept and easy to use, visial boards really help me in planning, executing and priortizing.
no complaints from my experience using the tool, other than our organization integrating it formally which would unlock more features and integrations with microsoft office 365 and specifically Microsoft Teams. Now with Microsoft Planner though many of the same features are available and that integrates with all of our tools better. Trello works better for certain projects that may include some volunteers or other external pro bono partners

I love this option compared to Microsoft Planner or some of our other corporate options because we don't need licenses and we don't have compatibility issues. I can assign tasks to anyone with an email address. Really easy to use with no tutorial needed.
Super easy to deploy and to add users that are not part of your company or on any specific platform. Mobile friendly.
I haven't found any features I use to be missing at this time though we are still growing project management / project prioritization tracking with this tool. I may have updates soon.

Trello is a pretty visual planner if it meets your needs.
I know a lot of people who love Trello, it gives a great experience of just moving cards around and getting a visual view of project planning.
I found the whole experience to be far too limited for large-scale planning and project management. It didn't match the way our projects worked in the real world, and was unable to adapt to our needs. So, while I can see the use cases for it, and it all really depends on your project type, team size, and work style as to what tool you use, this one didn't fit us and wasn't flexible enough to extend in the ways I needed.

Teams/ Planner is becoming the default due to MS bundling - hard to beat this tbh

I love every aspect of this software! It is my daily go to! My daily, weekly, and goal planner, my meal planner, my password keeper, and project organizer. There really isn't anything that Trello can't do!
I have used this software for years without any issues at all. I love all the features and the ease if use.

Trello is by far the number one recommended project management tool because it's free and mobile accessible. There are tons of options to share projects with your team and is a fantastic way to keep your content writing on schedule or whatever you are working on .
I am struggling a bit with the learning curve going from paper and pencil to a digital planner. But I think that's more my own personal struggle rather than the programs. Well it is still not my go-to like my paper planner, Trello is becoming an easy way to keep myself organized without having to carry my paper planner.

leave planner was resolved between teams and can be easily managed using trello
We had a 10 teams of 15 and we all use to use it to manage each others leaves. all we had to do is just update it and our manager will approve the leaves. You can do much more with trello.
Not really a easy to toggle around platform. sometimes it gets confusing on what is what. so u really need to get the hang of it.

Great tool that we used for free
We've used this a lot to plan topics for our upcoming lunch and learns. The Kanban approach is a great way to visualize work
We didn't have integration with our Active Directory so moved from Trello to Office365 Planner.

Good product with an easy to use interface. If you need a solid project management/task management solution, Trello could be a very good option for you. Just make sure to have the conversation with the Team before building out your columns & tasks.
I like Trello for the ease of use and the hyper-focused way to in my opinion to conduct weekly or daily review (SCRUM) sessions. Managing meetings bases upon tasks is an excellent way to optimize time and to "catch-up" with your teams going's on...
This is a good task management software. The downside is that it is a stand-alone project management software. With the introduction to MS Teams and Planner/To-Do, I find more versatility in the Microsoft world including MS Teams than I do in a stand alone Trello at this point.

Basic - to the point of not using it after a few initial attempts. The limitations made its use pointless. I recommend Trello over Planner to colleagues.
MS Planner is a bare bones planner tool. It does the basics of creating tasks and allocating them with, or without schedules. It triggers reminder emails and has basic dashboard views for users to see where their efforts need to be directed.
When using this product with an O365 licence it requires the plan to be associated with a Team (group). I don't understand why it simply can't be associated to my account. Linking it to a group enables the group members to see and edit what is in the plan. There's no security that will allow me to enable plan access to specific team members - so it can't serve a subgroup of the Team. You also cannot have a plan for Private Teams Channels - who are, again, a subgroup of the Team. So you can't build the plan privately or share it privately. This is a major shortcoming.
