It is in my opinion better than Todoist and I really loved Todoist so kudos to Wunderlist team!
On the one hand, Wunderlist is very simple and easy to use, there is no configuration needed, at a glance you know how does it work. On the other hand, there are a lot of features (free!) that makes this tool complex enough to conduct simple projects, make notes, subtasks and so on.
I would love a software that is as easy to use as Wunderlist and also complex enough to conduct processes involving more people. Wunderlist has no timeline or kanban board so it is impossible to plan projects in it. You have to plan projects and do Gantt Charts in one software and then move tasks to Wunderlist.

There are a lot of features and the UI is clean.
There are lots of other competitors, in todoist, evernote, etc. It's hard to choose one or another but I prefer todoist for simplicity.

Overall I was happy with wunderlist, but i switched to todoist because I think it has more functionality.
I liked that I was able to create to do lists that synced across multiple different platforms and operating systems. The feature that allowed it to sync with my calendar was also really helpful.
I used Wunderlist for a long time before I found todoist. I switched over to todoist because of how easy it was to schedule recurring events and to prioritize and group different tasks together. Wunderlist is good, todoist is just better in my opinion.

I enjoyed using To Do for my work for about 2 years, but have since moved to ToDoist.
I like that the software is extremely simple, keeping the user focused on the tasks and not the features of the app. It gets the essentials correct and does them well, but with very few additional features.
There are very few task attributes and other features. This app lacks many features, like different priority levels and different task views.

I used ms to do for a few months after it replaced wunderlist, then switched to todoist
I liked how easy it was to manage my to-do list, almost identically to how I used wunderlist until it was shut down
I preferred the wunderlist interface compared to MS To Do, which replaced it

Loved it while we were using it, and would definitely recommend it!
The best part: It is extremely simple and easy to use. It does not have a learning curve at all and completing tasks are as simple as a swipe
We recently switched over to to-doist since it offers sightly better features and functionalities. Todoist is competitive on procing too.

Always fast on phone and desktop. Smooth synchronization. Never dropped a task. I've used Capsule, Todoist, Zoho and none are nearly as visually clean and reliable.
The only console Wunderlist is that it's set to be cancelled soon.

It's a really easy way to make daily to do lists! Not only that, but it's a nice visual aesthetically when making your lists.
Todoist is actually my favorite app. This is not my favorite app because it's sometimes difficult to navigate and there are coding issues sometimes.

Wunderlist does its job well - it allows nice looking to do lists that can easily be organised and shared with other people.
Wunderlist has been around for a long time - lots have features have been added since I first used it, but it's still maintained it's fantastic ease of use.
For me, I prefer using Todoist, as the design is much more minimal. However Wunderlist can be customised more than other apps, which for some may be desirable.

We don't use it anymore, we migrated to Todoist, bur for starters is a good way to improve your work organization. The best thing about it, is that it's free.
Good sync with outlook, it's free, and good amount of "to-do" features.
It's not something that will change your work in 360° way. You can improve and organize your team, and your work, but other apps are far superior. "Todoist" for example.

Attractive interface. The iOS app is slick and responsive. Wunderlist lets you organise your lists into folders, which helps organise them. Better collaboration features than a lot of list-based productivity apps, as it allows you to have conversations about lists.
The per-task controls are a little fiddly if you just want a to-do list. Folders are nice but I'd prefer to have tags on lists for easy navigation. I'll probably stick to Todoist as my daily driver.

Wunderlist is easy to use but I found it limited in its scope.
Simple and intuitive. Great for making a daily to-do list and checking things off. I also used this on shared projects with another user and we could see each other's progress.
The simplicity is great - this doesn't have the functionality of other task-management software (like say, ToDoist). In other words, wunderlist is great for picking up the groceries or checking off the items for an event, but it isn't what you want for a comprehensive task management system.

Wunderlist comes with good task management capabilities but needs improvement in the area of user interface and intelligent input.
All the task management functionalities are available for free. I can add attachments to tasks. I can also set reminders.
Their user interface could be better. For example, the web page width is as wide as the screen width. I would like the page width to be smaller and centered in the middle. An intelligent input feature is not available. (I really like the intelligent input feature of Todoist.)

Using it since 2011 without a single problem. If that's not reason enough, I don't know what is.
It's amazing how this just flew under the radar and people end up choosing todoist. The free plan is enough to do almost everything you might need in a to-do list app. There is recurrence, apps cross-plataform, social login, referrals for credits, attachments, sub-taks, collaboration and team support, browser extension, restore deleted lists, all kinds of notifications. Flawless!
It's shutting down soon, because Microsoft bought to create a lesser worth clone - Microsoft to-do.

I am using wunderlist for some of my personal projects. For most other things I have started using another apps.
The simplisity and the functionality of the tool is top-notch. I really love the feel and the solutions of the app and browser extention. Wunderlist is amazing and for most people it should help solve the problem of task management at scale.
In some ways wunderlist gets a bit boring (yes, it's hard to be perfect) but this is mostly the case why I switched to Todoist for most of my work. Wunderlist lack some kind of identity that would be memorable and more interesting. I hope the management understands it and try some more approaches with the app to not lose competition.

I stopped using Wunderlist and went to TickTick a couple months before Microsoft purchased them. I still like Wunderlist but just felt it was going to be a matter of time before the application shut down and the team stopped working on it.
Wunderlist since being purchased by Microsoft hasn't really updated any new features and all the new ideas have been implemented into the new Microsoft ToDo application. I think Wunderlist is still a great resource but know that the application should be shutting down anytime and hasn't been updated at the pace it was when the team was working on it.
Wunderlist even when the team was working on it never really had the same features as say a Todoist or TickTick. It was a simplified version of a basic task list that worked extremely well in the niche that they were in. I would recommend Wunderlist to those starting out wanting to track their tasks but know there are much more feature-rich applications out there.

I actually use Wunderlist actively. If I update tasks on my laptop, there's seamless syncing to my smartphone. I'm on an Android and the app is well designed, very easy to read my tasks, add, update. On my Macbook, I switched from using Wunderlist in my browser (Firefox or Chrome) and am using the desktop app. The desktop app takes very little memory compared to keeping an open tab in either browser....
Sometimes super simple is all you need. What I love about Wunderlist is that it really is a plain and simple tool to keep track of tasks. I've used Todoist, and that's a cool tool too. But ALL I want is something to keep me straight on tasks I have, and have it super easy for me to add and update them. Wunderlist delivers on it's simplicity from actually using it to the look and feel.
Sometimes I'd like to print out on paper my completed tasks depending on what I'm working on. You can't do this. You can print out your open tasks. I can view a list of the next 7 days of tasks but I can't view what I have open after that. In ToDoist you can view tasks past 1 week in the Inbox. I'm using a tag that I can search and pull up tasks that are over a week old.

The Microsoft to-do app is simple and easy to use. It has a clean, minimalistic design that allows you to get to the task at hand rather than be distracted by stargazing animations or an overabundance of interface elements. Bottom line: Microsoft To-Do is a solid task manager, but it faces stiff competition from Jorte and Todoist. Which one you use will likely depend on how deep your Microsoft Integration is, and what other features you're looking for in a task manager.
The app is designed to be a personal productivity companion so you can focus on what matters most. It helps you plan your day with the best features of any task manager, while keeping you up-to-date with what's happening now and what's coming soon. The app is simple and easy-to-use, with an elegant design that lets you focus on what matters. All your tasks are stored in one place so you can see them at a glance, set reminders so they're never missed, and add details like attachments and notes.
There are some missing features that would make this app even better — including the ability to sync across devices, integration with other services like Google Calendar and Dropbox, and more customisation options for when reminders are triggered - location-based reminders (e.g., "when I arrive at work" vs "when I arrive at home")

The free trial left me wanting more, but with mostly-free alternatives like Wunderlist (soon to be Microsoft To-Do), Any.do and others, I can't justify the (recurring) cost for personal use.
Todoist is probably the best todo list manager, at least for personal use. It has every feature you may need, is easy to use and is cross-platform.
Almost every feature requires a paid subscription, which is not cheap in comparison to what the product is at the end of the day. Even reminders and notifications require a subscription...

Todoist is great to organize my business and personal life.
So far the greatest to-do list app I have found. It helps me organize my life and to not forget anything. Todoist is really easy to use, comes with a very clean design and runs on every device and technology one can imagine. The feature set is well balanced. To point out one special feature: The ability to switch between list and board is extremely useful.
Nothing so far. I recently (again) evaluated the competitors Asana, Trello and Microsoft To Do and Todoist is still better than all of them.

With the latest round of updates, this app is on par with most of the To Do / Checklist apps on market. Favorite feature - Siri can control ToDoist app if you are iphone user and siri fan. Works seamlessly across devices.
Some of the key features like Reminder is a paid feature. Microsoft To Do / Wunderlist would that give it for free especially with a calendar sync.

As a personal to-do list manager and task tracker, Todoist is a very solid option. It is cross-platform and integrates with other services like Outlook and Google Calendar, has robust mobile options, and is strongly featured at the free tier. It also has, in my opinion, a more user-friendly experience than Microsoft To Do.
From a team perspective, it feels like Todoist gets away from its core purpose too much when it gets into business uses. The features are implemented well, but lacks the robust customization and feature set necessary to fully track complex processes.

I am learning that not everything needs a deadline, my to do list will always be full, and that I can accomplish more than I thought.
This product is streamlined and integrates well with other products. The ability to organize your tasks on multiple levels is also nice. What I mean by multiple levels: you can organize in a standard list, that any task list app will do. However, you can also organize by tag. Why this is nice is that if you have multiple personal tasks (for example) across varying lists for time periods, you can instantly pull up all of your personal tasks. There is a wide combination of course of how suit this to your own needs. Finally, the reminders are extremely helpful and make it easy to prioritize your upcoming tasks. I hardly ever forget anything now, since I instantly put it on my appropriate list and give it a due date (if appropriate).
I really hate to say this but I don't have any flaws to point out. I evaluated over five to-do list apps, in depth. (IQTell, Wunderlist, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do, Asana, Evernote to name a few) This is the one I have been using now for over a year. A to do list is essential to my work so I was quite scrutiness in my evaluation.

While I've always used to do lists to keep track of my own work, I've now enabled this as a multi-person to do list for a team that I'm on. The product has been a lifesaver on keeping everyone not only on task but reminded about their daily deadlines.
For quite some time, I was using the very basic Microsoft To Do. I wanted something that worked and was simple. One of my favorite podcasts uses Todoist so I figured that I would give it a shot. Gamechanging. Not only does it work much more efficiently while still having a minimalist interface but allows you to do so much more with scheduling and collaborative features.
The learning curve took a bit and I initially had issues installing the Windows 10 version (the mobile logged in fine.) Issues aside, it all worked out!

Todoist has caused me more headaches then helped me accomplish tasks because if everyone is not on the same page for using todoist it will cause confusion and cause people to be late on deliverables.
Todoist allows for listing tasking items to yourself or another team member easy and quick. Offline use is allowed.
Todoist is a one trick pony. People try to utilize for note taking on top of tracking a list to do but it is a glorified notepad. From Outlook tasks, to Google Keep, to Microsoft planner there are dozens of built in apps to do exactly what Todoist does. But some people believe they need a separate app to keep them on track.

Overall Todoist has done a fine job of replacing Wunderlist after Microsoft killed that app.
This is the best free replacement to the now-defunct app Wunderlist. Wunderlist had the best feature set for free users ever, and Todoist has replicated many of them, while also making additional features available for a price.
Sorting and adding tags to items requires more steps than other ToDo apps, but is not terribly cumbersome. Overall this is still a great product. Some features are behind a pay-wall.

A stripped down free version. The mobile application is not available on all versions of Microsoft Windows.
I've used during three months. When properly configured, it allows you to quickly schedule, record and execute tasks. The free version, of course, is greatly curtailed, and it repels when you start with this application just to get acquainted. With a premium version, everything is much more fun. To organize time and work with the lists used to have a calendar and one note, so there is nothing to compare with anything else.

Todoist is a great software, with a small learning curve and simple UI. Its one of the most affordable options out there and for the features it offers, its a great option.
It has some nice features off from the start in the free version. The go to reason for using the software is a to do list, but it can be also used as a project management tool. Its very similar to lets say Microsoft Planner and other task management tools, so its easy to get used to it. It has over 100+ application integrations, file uploads and tagging.
User roles are only available in the business plan and there is no time tracking feature, which is really useful to diagnose progress and time invested into projects/tasks.

I love it. I use it for week to week tasks to make sure I'm reminded to do some of the things that are easy to do but easy to forget to do.
I love how easy and intuitive it is to create tasks, organize them by category, AND schedule them to be done either on a rotating schedule, repeating, or one and done with a due date! It has greatly enhanced my productivity on a week to week basis as well as on a future planning basis.
The scheduling feature is really handy but it isn't easy to figure out how to schedule and make repeat. You need to go through a few hoops to figure out how to do so.

It has increased my overall productivity and gives me clear understanding of what to do and when to do .
Best thing about the app is that it improve your productivity by breaking down larger task into small tasks. Best use which i can see is that it gives you clear understanding of what needs to be done and can reduce stress and anxiety by giving you a sense of control over your responsibilities.
The thing which i like the least is that if you have too many task on to do list it overload you which can become overwhelming and demotivating

It is my favourite to do list app. Do not even want to look for a better one. Highly recommended.
- It runs on every platform (web, mobile, pc, mac). - Great motivation functions (#todoistzero, karma points). - Lots of articles for users with tips on how to improve productivity. - You can group tasks in projects. - You can use tags and filters to see specific tasks. - Great minimalistic user interface. - The awesome user experience on mobile apps, I love it. - 4 priorities for tasks. - You can use something similar to Markdown in task name and comments. - You can share and collaborate on tasks and projects with others.
I was thinking for a few minutes on what are cons of this app. Did not found. There was few in the past, but they fixed it when improving the user experience in the mobile app.

Todoist is very easy to use. Any reminders, to-dos can be easily logged into the app. It will pop up as a reminder for on that day itself. It is a very simple but helpful tool.
