What is Magellano?
Magellano vacation rental management platform is the cloud software for tourist rentals ideal for tour operators, real estate agencies, tourist associations, booking Centers, and all those who manage a portfolio of accommodation facilities.
Magellano PMS helps manage the customer in all its phases, from the interest before the holiday to the return home after the stay using functionalities for quotes, requests of availability, options, reservations, advances and balances, arrivals, departures, feedback, receipts and payments, agency and owner account statements, invoicing, periodic statistics.
Magellano's planning tracks accommodation availability, requests, options, and reservations. It helps make entries, transfers, exchanges, insertion of non-bookable periods, stop sales of the owners, modification of arrival and departure dates, and more. The search function allows users to immediately find the available accommodations according to the customer's needs including dates of stay, geographical area, type, category, beds, swimming pool, barrier-free, and more.
The system supports the automatic calculation of the final amount considering the chosen period, the price lists of the accommodation with the relative seasonal changes, the treatment, the additional services requested by the customer, promotions, any discounts, and/or agency commissions. The advance and the balance are also automatically calculated with the relative payment deadlines and the booking confirmation to the customer, the confirmation to the owner, the voucher, and the rental contract to be sent by e-mail are generated.

Documents and emails
Magellano's PMS makes you free to manage documents and communications; with a simple but complete editor you can create templates in the language or modify the ones we provide you with; some examples: booking confirmation, contract, voucher, quote, payment reminder, etc.
All documents can generate a pdf and can be sent by e-mail in the customer's language.
Collections and payments
With Magellano you no longer have to remember customer receipts or owners' payment deadlines, he reminds you every time you log in.
The PMS also thinks about sending an email to request payment of the advance or balance, obviously in the customer's language.
Account statements
The account statements with the summary of the reservations to be sent to the agencies, the report of the paid practices or those still to be paid are not a problem, a click and your management system has them ready to send them in pdf or by e-mail.
All documents can generate a pdf and can be sent by e-mail in the customer's language.
Tax documents
The PMS allows the issuance and management of a series of tax documents: electronic invoices, commercial documents (electronic receipts), credit notes for customers and / or agencies.
Electronic invoices can be issued by simply downloading the invoice in XML or by using Magellano as a provider for sending to the Revenue Agency.
Electronic receipts are issued by connecting Magellano to your cash register.
Cleaning
With the Housekeeping feature you can easily organize the preparation, cleaning and linen change of your accommodation.
The operators have a practical app for Android and iOS available to consult daily the activities to be done, and communicate in real time to the reception the completion of the cleaning of each accommodation.
The statistics
For each company it is important to check the progress of past activity but also to have forecasts for the future; Magellano provides a package of statistics created to provide these results, in fact it is possible to request, for the desired period, customer reports (nationality, category, channel of origin, etc.), statistics by accommodation (type, geographical area, percentage of daily occupancy and weekly), agency reports, monthly totals by accrual and owner statistics.
For those who also manage the customer's reception, important reports are also generated for the additional paid services charged (linen, final cleaning, etc.).
Integrated with Channel Manager and Booking engine
The structures that you will insert on your PMS will be the same that you will publish on the portals, on the Booking engine and on the site, a single insertion and a lot of time savings. Obviously you can decide which properties to publish on which portals and whether to modify the message to be communicated (name, content, etc.).
Tax documents are customizable both in layout and content and therefore allow you to adapt to any need.
N.b. the functions are activated based on the optional add-on modules active.
