My favourite thing about having or using the app is the fact that you can easily check out upcoming class details without having to call someone. After you decide which class you want to attend, you can book for a spot on the class right on the app and reserve your spot.

We have individual memberships but aggregated billing on a monthly basis for linked members; events which allow us to send links to members to register; sign waivers, fill out questionnaires; and enter credit card information and more. While a learning process with some bumps along the way, GymMaster support was always there to help us make it work.

The data transfer took a bit longer than we expected, but we had a lot of members in the system to transfer.

Every time I’ve reached out (which as been a lot, since I truly want to understand all that the software can do for us) there have been no long hold times and the team has always been kind, patient, and genuinely helpful.

There is a new gym that opened up at a mall near my house and one of the steps for signing up is they enroll you to the GymMaster app.

Costumer service is amazing, easy to use program, the member management is exactly what I was looking for.

The transitions to this system was as easy as it could have been and the team is extremely helpful.

Happy, would suggest Gym Master caters to Crossfit Gyms as well ( would be great if it had an option of sharing daily workouts and allowed people to log their scores like Sugar Wod, Wodify)

The billing if a members payment fails a few times it disconnects from using it and have to speak to member where in mindbody it just keeps allowing tries

Every single time I've called, the person I've spoken with has been so kind and helpful.

In the past, with the other software company, we would be on the phone for an hour or more and sometimes still left with no answers.  

I've seen it change and update as well over the years, which was nice to see as a gym owner.

Adding members to paysafe is an arduous process which doesn't make me look good in front of customers.

It doesn’t allow you to add “due dates” to day pass membership options, allowing these members to have access to our facility after their membership has expired.

The integration they have with the door controller system as well as the ease of use with online sign-ups has allowed me more freedom as well as savings every month because of my minimum staff requirements.   

so if someone just wants to add tanning for 2 months we have to manually remember and remove access so they aren't billed for it

I would like to see an integrated app to go with their Bluetooth keycard access so members wouldn't have to have 2 different apps for the gym

I struggle setting up how I wanted everything to work but the ability to call I. and talk to knowledgeable help got be going in no time.

GateKeeper (24/7 access) sometimes has issues with connectivity and can run a bit slow.

We have been used the software since around 2008 and the regular updates and new features show the the Gym Assistant team really focus on their Customers and their changing needs.

so I didn’t have to teach em about my gym every time we chat to problem solve.

Once a member is deleted you can’t reuse that member number.

You can run so many different types of reports in gym assistant, it makes it easy to pull the data you need.

My thinking is because they are so often they are not being thoroughly checked before sent out and we have to update immediately which can be a bother when in the middle of something.

The customer service is non-exsistant once you pass your initial trial unless you pay them an unreasonable customer service fee.

Able to allow 24 hour access to our gym through the card software.
