What is xtraCHEF?

xtraCHEF is an invoice processing and food cost analysis tool for businesses within the restaurant and food service industry. The cloud-based solution automates tasks such as invoice parsing, cost analysis, data entry, purchase order and vendor statement reconciliation, and more. With xtraCHEF, users simply take a photo of their invoice using a mobile device, and the system then automatically digitizes the invoice, extracts relevant data, and imports it into integrated third party accounting and inventory management systems.

xtraCHEF uses food cost intelligence, price tracking, and trend reporting to help businesses cut down on unnecessary costs and optimize their profits through more informed purchase decisions. The interface is designed to digitize the invoice processing workflow by offering a mobile scanning feature with which users can input invoice data simply by taking a snapshot of receipts using a mobile camera and the native Android or iOS xtraCHEF application. Invoices are archived within the system and can be located at any time using the search functionality.
