Pros

My experience with Qwilr has been great. The software allows the creation of stunning pitches, documents, or proposals which themselves are highly customizable.
Thanks for the great customer service and helping me with my needs, great customers service from Alona and the whole team.
Really great for our teams uses, the customizations are great, and it is super quick to setup, create a doc and get it sent off. The tracking features are SUPER helpful.

Pros

Overall we a extremely pleased to use better proposals and get very excited when we send to our clients. We always ask for there feedback on the software and they are all very impressed.
But Better Proposals gives you high quality designs, and lets you insert amazing widgets into your proposals, like interactive pricing tables, payments, live chat, and signatures.
Also, all the proposals are beautiful and easy to navigate by the clients. Clients are always impressed when they view a proposal from Better Proposals.

Cons

I am missing some specific features, a refererral scheme etc.
Hard to read on the customers end. Too small and slightly difficult to read.
Sometimes the customization available to make on documents is tight to the software possibilities and there is no much possibility to make custom designs.

Cons

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I as unaware that early adopters could not trade their lifetime license.
I also felt as a consumer I was treated with discrimination and racism.
PDF export of proposals does not work 100% as it should. A bit of a bummer for documentation purposes but not a deal-breaker.

We as a marketing agency used Qwirl to have better proposals for our clients. It is important to make it interactive and beautiful to the eyes of our customer since one of our core biz is web designing. Before using Qwirl it was a struggle to make proposals in PDF by replacing elements, text, img, etc. but now, is it as easy with their drag-n-drop system. The software completely met my expectations.

Pros

Love the app. Creating proposals is so much better with Qwilr. And you get more insights into who opened them and how often than with PDFs.

Cons

I would love some more templates and improved analytics. Also, there were sometimes issues with the editor of the proposal, sometimes I could just not type into fields anymore. Hopefully that will be fixed soon :)

Pros

Qwilr makes the proposal process easy and provides interesting analytics to see how prospects are interacting with your proposal. You can see how long they have been on your proposal, when they view it, and which blocks they spend the most time with during the review.

Cons

The lack of customization is tough and it would be nice if they had better specs for creative within the proposals to ensure they look as sharp as possible.

I was looking for a better way to create a wonderful experience for my potential clients when I submitted proposals. I had been using simple tools, from Google docs to Dubsado, and none of them were giving the impression that I wanted to give. That’s when I found Qwilr. Setting up my proposals now is easy, and they look incredibly impressive. The moment I started using Qwilr, the number of proposals accepted started to increase, and I feel confident sending bigger proposals to higher end clients!

Pros

The best part about Qwilr is that it makes it so easy for us to create professional and impressive proposals.

Cons

There aren’t always all of the options I want in terms of fonts and cosmetic things like that, but it’s a minor inconvenience at most.

Beautiful design and ease of copying and creating professional proposals. Also e-signature is an awesome addition. Also I Love the analytics .

Cons

Sometimes laborious to create a proposal because the graphics freeze or text glitches . Also having to meticulously redo formatting when copying and pasting.

Proposals used to take me an hour to generate, now less than 15 minutes.

We used to have a bunch of documents to cut and paste from for proposals. Qwilr gave us a central repository where we could keep each of the sections we need and assemble proposals quickly. In addition to improving the workflow the ability to track views of the proposal and have clients accept them to close deals are also great features.

Pros

The ability to do proposals quickly and track reads.

Cons

It took a few proposals to really get the hang of building new sections.

We love our customers' reactions to seeing a Qwilr proposal for the first time. We also love the fact that they can select quantities, check and uncheck services, and really feel in control of their order. The customization is endless!

Pros

It is innovative and easy. Love the Docu-sign feature. This has really sped up our closing cycle.

Cons

I would like to be able to hide certain proposals from certain users. The level of transparency for all users is a little too open for every member of our team that is able to draft proposals.

Fast proposals and easy tracking of what has been sent out, what's been approved and how many times it's been open.

Pros

Qwilr is super easy to use and make a proposal look super beautiful and sleek. Almost every single proposal I sent got a comment from the client I sent it to. It's very easy to send out with the link and is fast to set up. I also love the fact that we are saving paper.

Cons

It's a bit difficult to make an actual invoice which I would prefer a better system for but in the same layout as the proposals that I send out. The price is a lot higher than similar products, however, I prefer Qwilr's layout as it looks better!

Pros

I love how easy it is to setup and make proposals. It allows you to create clean proposals to send out and duplicate when needed.

Cons

I wanted my clients to pay using the software but it was super expensive to go through their processing system. I ended up just creating a link for PayPal that made clients jump to an external page to get it to work but then you are not really using all the capabilities of the software.

Overall its a perfect tool very helpful for sales team to send quotes and proposals and saves us many hours of making manual proposals.

Pros

1. It is a great platform that saves us many hours2. Proposal builder is easy to use, and many resources are available to learn how to edit templates and blocks3. Great integration with Sales CRMs (Hubspot)

Cons

You need to be the same user of Qwilr that has the ID with Hubspot (same account) if not you cannot use templates (which makes you buy additional accounts on Qwilr for each hubspot user)

How easy it is to clone previously used proposals to get out new proposals and how you can track how many times a proposal is viewed.

Cons

Could autosave drafts more often along the way - my fault for not understanding how to use it properly at first, but lost a fair bit of work on first proposal I cloned.

Good, but not quite there yet!

There's a lot to love about Qwilr, but it has long ways to go. It looks great and really helps you look professional. However, I had issues with the program dropping my work. I added images that were gone the next time I logged in. It also lacked a lot of the basic capabilities of Microsoft Word. It's been a little over a month since I used it, so I can't remember the specifics in regards to those capabilities that are missing. So try it out yourself! I'm sure it will be getting better. The most annoying thing was that someone from Qwilr offered to give me a demo and we set up a calendar appointment. The person from Qwilr then just deleted the appointment without ever communicating with me. That may have just been a one-off mistake, but it was weird.

Quick turnaround on proposals and good version control

Pros

Ease of use and looks professional without using a designer. Easy to set up. Like clone feature. Share feature is good.

Cons

Ability to move around line items of invoice. The invoicing software should be more flexible. Limited templates. Ability to add proposal options. when I try to create 2 payment option , it adds up both in a single total. Biggest problem is dashboard. I would like to who is seeing this document similar to doc send. So I am forced to download proposal in PDF and send via docsend.

Pros

We use Qwilr for all our aftontickets.com proposals we send out. It is easy to use and had greatly improved the appearance of the proposals we deliver to clients.

Cons

Some of the editing tools are clunky, but once you get the hang of creating your document it is easy to use.

Controllable, Responsive, and Productive

I never thought about online proposal software until i read a great blog post about how much we all hate responding to RFPs, and how we were doing it wrong - spending too much time and giving too much information. I created my first proposal in a demo QWILR account, tested, then bought the yearly fee and created 3 proposals in a month. One converted into a client and it paid for itself 100x over. I'll never open up Word, InDesign or Pages again for proposals AND have awesome templated pieces for future proposals. PS _ love the analytics so I can see when someone opens and reads my proposal
