Its simple, easy to use, easy to connect domains to and manage. It really is the best solution for a secure email out there.

Protonmail Bridge often randomly logs out, and then it is a bit of a pain to log back in and sync everything up. The spam filter is sometimes too aggressive and hides legitimate mail.

I love that there is no spam and for this reason it is also a good email for children. Messages can be encrypted between users which is helpful and fun aswell.

My experience has been 100% positive, I integrated my proton account with my custom domain and use it as my business email platform as well as for my personal emails.

After the trial I payes for a subscription and integrated the mail functions with my domain name. I also got ProtonDrive, ProtonVPN and the ProtonCalendar, all secure.

They have paid subscription,however the free version should be enough in itself for most people. You can import your signature or create it on ProtonMail.

They have recently expanded by adding storage to protonmail, which was long needed. Their customer service that used to take ages is getting a bit faster as well.

Since they started the beta testing a few years back, it's been fantastic for me. I've been able to do email migrations with both the premium and free versions that I've used. It is, in my opinion, the best email choice, even for businesses.10 out of 10.

I was an early adopter, and their apps and service have continued to improve over time. The free plan is good enough for a Gmail replacement, but the paid plans give you access to many other services like a calendar, file storage, vpn, and more.

I really enjoy using ProtonMail. It was easy and intuitive to adopt. All of its features are on par or better than its competitors with the added benefits of encryption. I appreciate the company communications about their mission and sense of corporate advocacy (they support journalists and others who need secure communications). Being a paid member of the Proton world (Mail, Drive, VPN) feels like a very personal experience in the generally faceless, mega-corporate online communications industry.

An easy switch from other email service providers. The UI offers great user experience and is very appealing to my eyes in comparison to the like of Tutanota Mail.

Overall I am quite satisfied with my experience with free ProtonMail plan so far. If I were to purchase and upgrade, I would consider a different provider, though.

I think its a great, secure tool. But very hard to use for non technical people. Love the VPN functionality, and the new storage.

I love that its safe, my previous email provider (yahoo) said they will now be reading all of my emails which I disagree with so I like that I dont have to worry about that with proton

Would definitely recommend

Until they blocked my email account because of a non-payment to the irrelevant VPN service I was very happy.  
The VPN is OK,  having a secure core, not many servers as others but it's quite fast.
My advice is - if you look for a VPN to check NordVPN, ExpessVPN, and ProtonVPN - they are all good.
But IF you chose PROTON, make an account for VPN only and do not keep your important emails there because they are desorganized with accounts and better keep your mail separate from VPN in this case.

Im using ProtonMail to open lots of emails that I use them to open Facebook account.Then I use them to sell my products,so the more facebook accounts the more selling.ProtonMail is helping my bussiness so far.

Overall, looking at the server location, the reputation and the UX, I will recommend ProtonMail to people. However, the search function needs to be addressed pronto.

This email application has very little learning curve, allowing you to get going quickly. Even just creating the email address took less that one minute it was that straightforward.

Great customer experience, nice features. 

Easy and smooth setup (up and running within minutes). Not such a fan of the overall layout (visually, not from an operational or functionality standpoint). Security and encryption features and functionality are great.

It is nice to have your information encrypted and secured, but the lack of integration into my workflow made it impractical for me... i just had too many addresses of email and little time, besides, my information is not that confidential.

                                                       I have used a lot of email programs, Gmail of course, iCloud, probably Hotmail and YouTube back in the days, but I keep moving on, and I think ProtonMail's the latest and greatest.
                                                       The main thing that got me to ProtonMail was they offer end-to-end encryption, which I thought was really important. I like the increased privacy, just on a regular basis, and I like the ability to send encrypted mail to other ProtonMail users. You can send encrypted mail to folks using other apps, though it gets a little tricky. But that's what brought me to it, and then the reason I stay, I've been a paid user for years now, is because the customer service is amazing, just amazing. If I have any kind of question or problem, an actual human being emails me back, which is phenomenal. And the app keeps getting better and better, easier to use, really pleasant, it's a great experience and I couldn't be happier with ProtonMail.
                                                       Really simple, very intuitive, the interface is going to look pretty familiar to other email apps, particularly when you're first getting into it. As you get fancier and get into all your options there's great stuff there. They have tutorials, and they also have little widgets that will help you import things, like your contacts, or even your email from other accounts, though I used the opportunity to declare inbox zero. And so they've got everything right there to help move you over and get you familiar with the new software set up, your filters, your flags, your folders, all of that business, really easy.
                                                       I would say go for it. I wish more people would use ProtonMail. I'm excited to give the endorsement here because I think it's a great product. I think particularly the way the world of business is going, privacy becomes an ever greater commodity, and knowing that my email is secure and that I can offer that assurance to my clients is excellent, is really valuable. And for me as a business owner, knowing that if I have a problem, or any kind of slight snafu, I can get in touch with a real human being who's going to find me solutions and follow up with me to make sure the solution worked. It's like having additional staff, it's really fantastic.
