What is Amazon WorkSpaces?
Amazon WorkSpaces is a Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) software that helps businesses facilitate remote working through cloud-hosted desktop virtualization. It enables administrators to maintain a secure user platform through multi-factor authentication, single sign-on (SSO), custom permission levels, and IP address-based access control features.
Amazon WorkSpaces allows businesses to categorize resources by adding tags across work spaces, imported images, IP access control groups, bundles, and directories. The WorkSpace Application Manager (WAM) lets users add and track usage of external applications on virtual desktops. Supervisors can also utilize the CloudWatch module to set up threshold-specific alarms and analyze performance across several work spaces.
Amazon WorkSpaces comes with an API, which allows businesses to integrate the solution with multiple third-party systems. It alsoenables users to maintain virtual desktop infrastructure in compliance with HIPAA data protection and PCI DSS payment processing regulations.

Extremely poor.- continual intermittently desktop display issues- very poor audio when attending teams meetings (need to email meeting invite to my local account and attend meetings as an "external" party which confuses people)- No file transfer from remote desktop to local- Linux client and Web Clients give authentication failure, need to use MacOS or Windows only despite the websites claims (misleading information)- Support don't address issues even when calls have been logged for months, and end user is not able to contact support directly (non-existant support)
