Pros

Best of all, it allows you to integrate into most of the popular platforms seamlessly and it allows you to start small for free and grow big.
The improved back-end features, the reporting functions, and the integrations have really made me like this platform. The nonprofit discount and the overall affordability have been great.
The form creator is awesome. It made it SUPER easy to design a form with the fields I required my customers to fill out and let's them upload images when contacting me.

Pros

The ease of use, the ability to customize and best of all uniformity throughout the organization.
Overall, I would recommend using Forms because its integration with one's google account is amazing and when drafted correctly, you can elicit the appropriate feedback from users of the Form.
Auto save in the cloud is seamless with amazing collaboration support. Free to use and easily integrates with other Google features.

Cons

Due to jotform errors and their non-existent customer service I am now getting angry emails from customers threatening to cancel their subscriptions.
It's expensive and you can only gather X amount of forms before being charged. The website is a bit dated.
That it’s hard to read and fill out on mobile browsers because of the tendency to be cut off on the screen.

Cons

If you make a mistake there is no auto suggestion to help you out. It will give you a blank look and a confusing an error message.
I have a hard time making changes to my current forms. It is mainly because I am scared I will disrupt the flow of the form.
People miss the submit button after entering all the information. Hard to capture answers when this is missed.

It allows us to build nearly any forms we'd need that are beyond what Google forms are capable of.

Pros

It is incredibly flexible and easy to use with a straightforward drag and drop interface and a plentiful set of widgets allowing you to make everything from data acquisition to payment forms.

Cons

Unlike some alternatives, it's a bit disappointing that there is no unlimited submission tier available and the tiers available are a touch pricier than I would like.

It is very easy to use and clients like it.

Cons

There are limitations depending on the version you buy. Cheaper versions are not HIPPA compliant.

Made my life so much easier, saves me time and money

Pros

Extremely useful tool used to create and publish all kinds of forms online, Very decently priced and even a monkey could probably navigate it due to amazing ease of use. I can use it to integrate and autonate so many things, I couldn't live without it!

Cons

Google forms is similar but free so the price is the only down

I used this instead of google forms because I needed some features that weren't available on google forms. JotForms is easy to use and very customizable. Embedding the form was also easy.

Cons

Pros

I like that I can create or use the templates that are already there. I love that I can create a contract and enable the feature to where no one I send it to can copy the contract. I had that happen once and the cleaner did not finish the rest of the onboarding. So now, I water mark all my documents and have this feature enabled along with the passcode as well.

Cons

Honestly, I really can't think of any. I use it for basic things like creating forms and I already have the forms in my google account.

Great Forms Solution that integrates well with Google

I would recommend Jotforms for people who need more customization and options than Google Forms.

Pros

My favorite feature on Jotforms is that it integrates with google sheets for the results. This can make compiling information a lot easier. The forms are easy to build and security is great.

Cons

Can be a little pricy, and if you are building a form with a lot of interactions, it can get confusing.

Pros

Jotform makes forms creating and integration very easy. Reporting is extremely useful and visualizing the form results is very robust.

Cons

There isn't that much exclusive functionality that would make the purchase reasonable, compared to Google forms.

Pros

jotform has made it easy, am able to send client forms and they sign while in their homes, its so easy to use. and its allows intergation with other software

Cons

the software limits user with what they edit in the form which is not the case with google forms, it also becomes hard to edit forms after submission.

Great tool for use with overseas clients!

We reluctantly went to jotforms because we had clients in China who needed to complete our forms. We were very comfortable with google forms and were hesitant to change, but needed to. Turns out we can do so much more with jotforms (still under their free areas) than in google forms! So happy we switched!

Pros

I like how much control I have to create questions, forms, etc that work for exactly what I need. We switched to jotforms from using google forms because of clients in China who can not access google. Turned out to be a great switch that we are so happy we did!

Cons

Takes a little getting used too and learning their lingo for different functions and aspects you can add to forms, but the help buttons and hint buttons help greatly!!

NOT for research surveys

This review is specific to using JotForms as a substitute for other platforms that may be used for creating surveys. We use JF at my agency for other purposes and its fine but I'm really shocked at how poorly it is set up for creating surveys and for data visualization. For example, if you want to convert a survey that uses Likert sliders into a PDF, JF just deletes those questions instead of converting them to a standard Likert format. The form building is not intuitive. There is incorrect (or outdated) information on use in their self-help library and customer support is very hard to get.

Pros

For the purpose of research, even Google forms (which I hate) is better.

Cons

It's like they built this capability and never spoke with anyone who does actual real research. The form building options are not good. Data visualization is terrible. Customer support is terrible. I kind of wonder why they even offer a survey capability if it's going to be the worst on the market.

Pros

Making forms was easy! Google forms is one thing but there were so many more features with this one. And you could keep them all in one place.

Cons

The paywall. When it was free it was good but it didnt do everything you wanted. The paywall is there and there were more features but some of them should come standard

A good webform for personal and work use

Jotform is a good form that outperform google forms in design and in some features such as form branching. As I´ve use forms with branching, I had a better experience using jotform.

Pros

The form branching in jotform is intuitive and easy-to-use in comparison with others webforms and it has a better design.

Cons

It is a good software that you can use for free (with a limit of form visualization/answer) or using a signature. That can be consider cons if you take into account that google forms is free.

I like to use it often. I am used to Google Forms before but I switch to Jotform nowadays.

Pros

I like the consistency of the form. I also like that it is easy to use and you can save your work as well.

Cons

I think it would be great if the accessibility time is improved.

I ended up switching g to google forms because I didn’t need all the features and didn’t want to pay.

Decent experience. Overall, a mid-tier product at a mid-tier price. Worth it. And has a decent free pricing.

Pros

JotForm had a lot of options that Google Form and Typeform and other form software don't have. Such as accepting payment, accepting signatures, etc.

Cons

JotForm limits what its users can and cannot do with the forms unnecessarily even if you are just making a form for testing purposes. Unlike Google Forms where you can essentially do whatever you want.

However, there are limits including the number of forms. For the free plan, you can only keep 5 active forms in your account. A simple form builder with advanced features.

Pros

It is super easy to get set up and build a form. You can even make apps that can be used to fill out a form multiple times quickly. Their e-signature platform offers seamless integration with their other products and works well.

Cons

Although it has a lot of features, it does have a limit on most tiers; unlike alternatives, for example, Google Forms.
