Our commitment

Independent research methodology

Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.

Verified user reviews

GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.

Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.

Pros

“I use it to sell photography albums, and it provides a professional checkout experience, secure payment processing, and multiple payment options for clients.”

michael k.

President

“We use Shopify for new webshop builds, redesigns, replatforming projects, migrations and ongoing webshop optimization.”

Simon A.

Founder and Shopify E-commerce Strategist at Opklopper

“Our experience is that Shopify gives growing brands a reliable foundation for product management, checkout, payments, shipping, content, tracking, apps, integrations and international growth.”

Simon A.

Founder and Shopify E-commerce Strategist at Opklopper

Pros

“The good thing is that whatever the issue may be it can be reported to their development team to possibly correct the issue. But this is a timely process as well. And to have already pay for a plan depending on length of time taking advantage of their 1 time discount, you can be losing out on those hiccups that haven't been developed yet.”

Reuben S.

Owner

“This puts the mind at ease before making a solid decision on upgrading to a plan for optimum usage and features. And there's always an open ear & mind for improvements because I believe they actually listen to their customers concerns and what to address them.”

Reuben S.

Owner

“Some of the specific options that I needed were buried in sub-menus a bit, but the 24/7 support always found a fix”

Peter B.

Publishing Partner

Cons

“Monthly subscription that can strain cash flow at launch, some third-party apps get expensive quickly, advanced customization requires coding knowledge.”

Nicole T.

Event Marketing and Operations

“Another minor frustration is that certain features and reports are only available on higher-tier plans, which can make it difficult for smaller businesses to access the tools they need without upgrading.”

Gary A.

Founder CEO

“The discount code system is pretty basic - we can't do the tiered pricing structures our bulk buyers expect without workarounds.”

Andy C.

Sales Director

Cons

“When I respond to people through the website, the email looks like spam to the recipient.”

Joanna B.

Bakery Owner

“While SITE123 integrates with some third-party tools and services, users looking for extensive integration options or specific integrations may find the platform lacking compared to more advanced website builders.”
