Pros

It does have a powerful dashboard full of features, a great customer service to guide you through any circumstance you need help with.
It is super easy to get running and use. It has tutorials and forums to help you understand and a great layout which makes everything super accessible.
It has been an excellent experience and I would recommend it to other small business owners like myself.

Pros

I LOVE that my customers have a simple and useful dashboard and sophisticated features that other services either don't have or don't provide at an affordable rate for a growing entreprise.
I absolutely LOVE Subbly. I started with the free trial because I wasn't quite sure if it would be right for my needs but it's fantastic.
The software is easy to use and I had the most professional and amazing customer service in helping integrate with my Shopify store.

Cons

There are fees that are not too transparent or still confusing as I have customers all over the world and have to pay differing charges.
The only bit about this software that is frustrating is that it takes a while for the money to arrive in your bank.
Stipe Has Limitations and Difficult to Work With.

Cons

No stock control/variants for non-subscription items. Limits to what you can do on the site, mobile and tablet aren't completely intuitive/customisable/responsive.
The part that caused me some problems was making the website appear consistent on both the desktop and mobile version.
Lack of shipping options for customers - proves difficult to have a profitable one price fits all option. Somewhat defensive customer service responses.

Creating Subbly from start to finish

After doing a subscription box coaching, I was encouraged to use Subbly for my subscription box business. Considering I was totally clueless and very nervous about websites, with the help of the Subbly Team, they patiently gave me a by step by step solution to my numerous questions. They were able to test my website and check that everything was running smoothly before I launched. Subbly is prefect for my sub business, keeps track of everything. I love Subbly, there still more I need to learn, but I have taken off and I know that help is readily available.

Pros

The drag and drop features, integration with Stripe and MailChimp.

Cons

The initial video I watched was very bad quality my very least favourite.

I really liked how the dashboard is set up. It’s easy to see what’s left to do and what you still need to do.

Cons

The payment options are great but it’s a bit cumbersome to set them up outside of stripe.

Flexibility with billing and great customer service to help whenever I need it!

Pros

What I like most is how easy the software is to use. If I am struggling with something, then the help menu has been informative. If that does not answer my question, customer service is quick to respond. Also, I love that there is quarterly payment options. There is a lot of flexibility with with billing, shipping and other features that it allows me to really make the subscription platform that I want.

Cons

I would like to see more website design features/options to use. However, Subbly is always improving these options.

Overall experience has been good. The customer service is very good and I found Subbly was easier than some other sites to get set up. They are constantly updating the site with new or better features. Would recommend for sure.

Pros

It is very easy to use and navigate and was quite easy to set up to be up and running within a day or so. Customer service is great, quick and patient as I am not one to explain myself, but they got it.

Cons

Maybe a bit more flexibility with being able to design website, but is still easy enough and would love paypal as well as stripe as payment options but believe it maybe an option in the future

Very positive experience with the Subbly team. They are responsive to hearing suggestions and implementing ideas that all merchants will benefit from.

Pros

The advanced integrations and billing options make setting up a fully customised subscription business very straight forward. The advanced options make it easy to rapidly test promotions to a wide range of audiences and really hone in on your perfect product/market fit

Cons

That I didn't start using it during our initial launch.

Waaaay better than shopify, despite missing a few features

I was struggling with costing with Shopify. Everything was an extra cost and it all added up to be way too much.

Pros

the support team is AMAZING. I used/still use them frequently, but not because it's hard software to use, it's in fact so easy that i find myself trying more complicated things than before (i'm not a techie). Also, the price includes just about everything (analaytics, subscription billing etc) in the price.

Cons

Integrations and features. I wish there was a bulk inventory import for my products. There are also a few pay-for apps that i wish were a bit cheaper but that's just as I am starting out.

Positive Experience with Subbly

I am writing this review because I have had such a good experience and am grateful for the help subbly customer service has provided. I hope they know they know their team is doing a great job.

Pros

As a small business owner who does not have website or tech experience, customer service is a must for starting out on a new ecommerce site and as we grow. Subbly has a majority of want we want built into its site in an easy to navigate format (compared to other sites such as wix IMO). They subscription billing that is already built in is huge. The customer service has always solved our problems and been communicative and helpful. We have been using subbly for 4 months.

Cons

The built in billing is extremely helpful because there is no coding I personally need to do; however, it does mean subbly has limitations in the creativity of billing needs. We are a quarterly box and most subscription box sites are set up more for monthly and annually. BUT we have been able to make everything work about 90% the way we wanted to and were able to adapt to the rest. Also, an example of Subbly not having EVERY widget built into its site, is no built-in review templates or a discount wheel. These are smaller things compared to what you really need in a website platform. Although, I would love a review page template!

We have used the software for over two years and it keeps getting better. In the last few months we have got a brand new checkout, more custom billing options and a new referral program. It has everything you need to run a successful subscription box business. My favourite part is the fact it is so easy to use.

Cons

I am happy with Subbly. It has all the features we need to run our business. If you are thinking of launching a subscription box business use subbly.

brilliant, the customer service team have been so helpful

Pros

The ease of the set up was great and the step by step instructions to put it on my website was very useful. The dashboard is laid out so very clear.

Cons

I'd like to have the option to have one button which I can put on my website instead of the 4 I currently have to accommodate my subscription options. The formatting and the looks as I have to space them so far apart so customers can see the box enough to order. I would also like to see a test of each option so I have more of an idea how the checkout looks and works. Option to integrate paypal instead of stripe.

Perfect for small CSA Farms, affordable & flexible system

I have had a million questions about all the options they've made available in this SAAS, and hiccups getting the payment to go through since it's international and the bank thought it was fraudulent. They've been so helpful and prompt with responding considering our time difference from California to Europe. The even extended the free trial so I could have time to get everything in order before going live!

Pros

Price point is affordable for small businesses and farms. Most favorite features are the customer portal so our subscribers can manage their own subscription, preferences, and billing at their convenience. The check out survey allows you to create add-on products and services billed right into the subscription price, or just as a one time add-on. The checkout flow is beautiful and mobile friendly, and the widget functions perfectly.

Cons

Not much I don't like about it - one thing I wish I could modify is the ability to change the language in the checkout process so it doesn't say "ship to this address", as opposed to just collecting a shipping and billing address, as one of my options in the checkout survey is to collect their subscription box on our farm for free.

I am super impressed with the ease of integration as well as the costumer service. With eager anticipation, I will be closely following the progress Subbly makes as a business.

Pros

For a bunch of reasons Subbly is my new favorite. First of all, their CEO and other support staff are extremely available to answer all questions and resolve any problems. More than resolving problems, they want their company to be the best in its field. If you're in need of a service that they currently don't provide, but you think they should, they'll build it. Cons

Subbly is new and as such is still a work in progress. Its not yet the one-stop-shop solution it has the potential to be, but in my opinion it is well on its way.

The best features of Subbly are the backend tools, the customer service, and premade site templates that are optimized for conversion. Before Subbly, I was manually shipping each box by typing addresses and printing individual labels, Subbly helped connect with Shipstation which cuts my ship time tenfold.. I'm confident we will be able to handle that on our own. Subbly also easily facilitates billing...

Cons

I wish there were a bit more flexibility with the site design, there isn't the ability to add sections or move things around- you're somewhat bound to the template they give you. Good news is the templates work. Also, some of the tools can be buggy, but they usually fix bugs quickly.
