VCam overview
What is VCam?
VCam turns a webcam into a configurable virtual camera for Windows and macOS. Remove a background, replace it with an image or video, or apply adjustable blur without a green screen. Camera effects run locally on the device.
After setting up the camera in VCam, select VCam as the camera source in a compatible meeting or streaming application. Supported uses include Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Discord, OBS Studio and XSplit Broadcaster. The same virtual camera feed can be used in multiple compatible applications at once.
Camera tools include auto-framing, virtual studio lighting, nametags, logo overlays and Pause Loop. Users can choose backgrounds from the library or upload their own images and videos.
For organizations, the online Workspace Dashboard centralizes background and logo sharing, member management and branding settings. Business plans add machine-based licensing and centralized billing. A free Starter plan includes a watermark, while paid Personal and Business plans remove it. Personal subscriptions and a lifetime license are available.
